This product was designed to test N-channel enhancement-mode Power MOSFET's only. These devices also have commonalities with conventional IGBT's that are used in SMPS or Inverter designs. Also, depletion-mode devices could be catered for, with the proviso that the LED operation would be reversed ie. there would be a normally conductive state between Drain and Source.
