yes you can, lol a transistor is just a large conductor, there making them smaller all the time, the only limit is the size of the machine there making it with... there will come a point in about 500 years or something when they will reach atomic level and cannot build devices any smaller, but until then devices will become alot smaller, practical and cheaper, developers want to make things smaller! the smaller the device, the faster and more efficent it is and cheaper to produce, everyone wins
