@ItayIsBored97 Magicians shine in their aoe abilities. Dunno what they're like end game, but right now I can kill 4 or 5 same level mobs at the same time with my magician : P Which seems necessary because of how dense mobs are and how fast they respawn. Regular mobs are pretty easy to kill, but I still get kind of pissed off when stuff spawns on top of me every couple of seconds :\ It's my only gripe with the game so far.
@jazwil3 You get the hats, or in your case, helmets, once you're level 20. :D And don't worry if it doesn't match your outfit since you dyed it, there's a hat dye merchant called Lord Rainbow.
@Playrobotzic Actually, if you even tried to play eden eternal or dragon nest, you'd know that in eden there are 5 branches that branch of into 3, creating 15 classes. In dragon nest, there are 4 classes that branch of twice, and then from that class you branch off into two other classes again. That gives 20 possible class choices. From my view, Dragon Nest just has what eden does plus more. There are also way more skills in Dragon Nest in case you didn't know that too.
@curiousmonkey27 So what classes make a better game? What about plot, content, update rate, races? How easy or hard it is to level? Not saying one is better than the other but are you two really arguing over which game is better biased on class? It's all about opinions anyway, the person who plays one will stay loyal to it.

Since Robotikz is hung up on classes, I'm just going to follow his flow. I play or have played Eden and DN, and so far: DN wins in plot, Eden wins in update rate, Eden wins in races, DN wins in classes, and as for the leveling...It's rather hard to judge due to Eden's unusual level-up system, but if comparing character level, DN wins in that too.

@SailorSaturn1172 On top of the huge update that will bring Dragon Nest out of OBT, many new areas, nests, and dungeons will be realeased. Not to mention a tripling of skills that NA DN has now from max level. There are many things to come in Dragon Nest that will boost the amount of gameplay ten-fold. Don't forget the quests, either. There are unique cutscenes in many of the quests that were done beautifly. The quests actually hook you to the game, unlike Eden.

Anyone tell me if this is a good game? I don't buy game money, so I need like, a game that doesn't rely on real money to become a good player. Also, does this game have an overpowered class? Most free MMO games I play has an overpowered class, so yeah.
I would pay $15 a month to play this. But, there is NO chance I'm going to play a F2P game with an item mall that disrupts the game balance. There is NO such thing as a 'fair' item mall. I've played 12 F2P games with item malls and they all either provide outrageous advantages from the beginning or slowly become more unbalanced as time goes on. Please make this game subscription based with no item mall. I implore you! This game looks so fun that it makes me so sad to see it ruined.

@sonicpower5 I know. League of Legends is the ONLY microtransactions system which I like. This game's item mall is nothing like that system. This game's item mall is like MapleStory's cashshop system which is perhaps the worst item mall system in existence.
@sonicpower5 I guess I should clarify. League of Legends is a different type of game. I mean a F2P MMORPG. LoL is an MMORTS. There is no persistent element in terms of character abilities. No items that carry over or character levels that carry over. In this way one cannot reap imbalanced benefits from the microtransactions in LoL. Eden Eternal, and all other F2P MMORPGs for that matter, do fall prey to item malls that exploit the community.

There are a lot of other people who also agree with me, though there are also people who support the item mall in this thread. I think this has a good mix of people supporting both sides so it's an interesting read:

@OMFGZORZ There are sub classes,and you can switch between all of them freely.There are certain requirements for them though.For example,let's say you start as a magician.When your base level hits level 35,and your Magician level hits 30,you can play as an Illusionist.
Closed Beta....may be a bit buggy in some areas, but this game is AWESOME! Also, can you people please make it to where body pigments can be bought above lvl15?
So many people are criticizing this game harshly. It's irrational to judge this game based on all MMOs out there, and it'd be smarter to judge it compared to other MMORPG's. Along those lines, this is one of my favorite games. Theres a total of 15 classes to choose from, smoother graphics and gameplay, good dialogue, and alot of game content to enjoy(from the classic instanced dungeon to towns built from guilds, and not just controlled by). Eden Eternal has a lot to offer.
The videos on youtube really don't do this game justice. I'm playing it on max settings (on my really beefy computer) and the game is gorgeous. Great art style too, nice cel shading. REALLY innovative class system that lets you change to any job any time, and your equipment set for each class is retained (so no having to re-equip stuff when you change jobs)
The gameplay is very smooth and there are manny more classes than this I'm a lvl 30 hunter and did I mention u could switch between classes any time u want! Its Rlly cool

@EmbracedSword It's a really good f2p game, sure it was a cash shop with some special stuff but you can certainly do without it at the moment.
While there are some minor downsides I can't say there's anything more to be expected from a f2p game.
All and all, it's good and most likely worth your time. :)

Closed Beta....may be a bit buggy in some areas, but this game is AWESOME! Also, can you people please make it to where body pigments can be bought above lvl15?

So many people are criticizing this game harshly. It's irrational to judge this game based on all MMOs out there, and it'd be smarter to judge it compared to other MMORPG's. Along those lines, this is one of my favorite games. Theres a total of 15 classes to choose from, smoother graphics and gameplay, good dialogue, and alot of game content to enjoy(from the classic instanced dungeon to towns built from guilds, and not just controlled by). Eden Eternal has a lot to offer.

The videos on youtube really don't do this game justice. I'm playing it on max settings (on my really beefy computer) and the game is gorgeous. Great art style too, nice cel shading. REALLY innovative class system that lets you change to any job any time, and your equipment set for each class is retained (so no having to re-equip stuff when you change jobs)

The gameplay is very smooth and there are manny more classes than this I'm a lvl 30 hunter and did I mention u could switch between classes any time u want! Its Rlly cool

i just love how you can actually switch from class to class instead of having to stick with one class and thats the class you get for life. i can be like "oh im a thief" then after a couple weeks id be all "eh, im bored time to switch!" yeahhhh :D
