I just got back home from collecting the material but the eyes I used are those snow ball things for the eyes, cause the onion holders I found were all formed odd so yeah I also am making the fabric red but thanks for the tutorial

The paper mache method blows, to ensure it's strength, the lips end up being WAYYYY to thick, and it looks really stupid..

@Newsflashfromkris212 i LOL'd at the fact that you think the paper mache layers add up to a full inch. everybody that has made a homemade mau5head(including myself) has made a "lip". my mau5head has 11 layers of paper mache and is solid as a rock, lightweight and only 3mm thick. plus i get to brag that i made it from scratch. so no, it does not "blow" as you do to Joel Zimmermans cock. its actually a great, cheap alternative to wasting money on an acrylic ball or a giant hamster ball.

@epicferret if you notice at 0:10 and 0:25 , the bottom hole isn't covered with the newspaper. Therefore, when you deflate the ball and remove it, the hole would be there.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: I tried it with the new method (the one with printing paper) and I can guarantee you it works perfectly. Howerver, you might want to do 5 layers a day for two days. It will be solid enough

Just finished my mache layers, computer paper SUCKS. DON"T USE IT. I tried to sand it and it literally fell apart. Then I punched it out of anger. Thankfully, 10 layers is pretty strong so it didn't break. Your better off just doing 9 layers and then brushing glue/plaster over it over and over and over and over and over and over again.

Personally I believe you should do 15 layers of newspaper, then A4 paper. I've done 10 and although it's strong it could be A LOT better.
