yeah, thats just a USB hdd.. use HDXT and get an enclosure for a 3.5" two terabyte with an esata port to use it as an 'internal' drive. anyone can format a drive to fat32 and plug it in the usb.

And most PS3 games are at least 7 GB each. The PS3 exclusives are at least 14 GB.

@Statizzz copying the game from your disk to your hard drive was 23 hours?!?! wow it takes way less than that for me to copy a huge game like MGS4 that takes like 1/2 hour if it takes longer than that something is wrong... step one use the program multiman on your ps3... if what your saying is true a large game like mgs4 would be transferring at 0.3mb/s... if that is true then there is something very wrong with your system... cause even usb 1.1 transfers at around 2mb/s!

Also you can install a 2 TB drive on a 360. It's just even harder to do because you have to open the console up and jtag a patched kernel first.

The problems with that is for one thing it's hard as SHIT to do and the only motherboards that work with it are the early revisions that were even worse about red ringing.

I'm getting my PS3 tomorrow, and I got a 500 GB drive I bought for 50 bucks that I'm gonna install. It was a portable external drive but I disassembled it. Posted a vid of it too

@Bonznumber1 They did. Which is why if you wanna get it to accept any other hard drive you have to install a jtag patched kernel. It pretty much does for the 360 what CFW does for the ps3, except it's way more complicated than just installing a patched update file. Just take apart the hard drive enclosure and put in another laptop hard drive.

Only problem is if you put in a really big drive, it takes the Xbox 360 longer to boot up. But

My Computer has 2 NAS drive with 4 bay each, housing 8 - 2TB HDD with a total of 16,000GB, and that too is almost full, AND I'm thinking of adding another 4 bay NAS drive. Not everyone use their HDD the same way. Some has more, or in my case, WWAAAYYYYY more content than others. Just so you know, 95% of bluray movies costs 40-60GB of HDD space EASY! If you had ever made legitimate lossless backups, instead of downloading crappy rips from torrent site, you'd know how much space (and time) one single Bluray image takes. Since the introduction of HDMI and Bluray, I refuse anything less.
