Ygyf the camera sometimes picks up things that the eye cannot see, for example on some videos on You Tube when a Mercedes sl63 accelerates you see the back lights flicker, this is the traction control keeping everything in order.

While the camera picks this up you would not actually see this with your naked eye.

It is because of the camera. Same thing when you see a rolling car and the wheels look like they are spinning backwards. The camera only picks up about 25 frames/sec normally or something like that.

@m5loverx. Sorry but you are wrong again. Taken from lambopower "The LED taillights are not constantly "on", they're strobed on and off at a frequency above the eye's ability to detect. The effect you see in the video is the interaction of the camera's frame rate (it too is "strobed" at 30 frames/sec) and the LED flash rate. Some of the video frames catch the LEDs when they're "off".

I think the SL65 AMG is the best one with 612hp, unfortunately the SL600 and SL65 AMG are not available with the 7G-tronic gearbox due to the immense torque of the engine. The SL65 is also 80,000€ more expensive than the SL63.

on Paper the SL600 may very well have better stats but to me its still just a luxury cruiser instead of a proper sports car (full of wood finishings). I would still go for 6.2L normally aspirated SL63 than the biturbo SL600.

yea, the sl63 is more of a sports car in the sense of the slightly better handling, more liters in the engine, and very slightly more power. but the sl600 is generally a more impressive car - it has more standard luxury features than the sl63 and it has four more cylinders

Zilver, doet die auto geen recht. Zwart is een veel betere kleur voor de nieuwe sl amg. Zwart geeft em een veel sinistere look.

Ik twijfel alleen of ik een sl 63 eerder zou nemen als de oude sl 55 puur vanwege de verschillen tussen styling en motorgeluid van de twee.
