I've used it for shotgun.  It can be a pain to pack when you're running and gunning.

he took it to him... Probably the most awesome thing I've ever seen in person...even though I watched the whole thing through my bow sight. You can't really tell the distance to the decoy...he's only 15 yds away! My heart was about to jump outta my chest.

Wouldn't call it a miss...good shot...just not good enough...you know how tough those turkeys are. ;-)

He made it into some thick stuff and we could find him...I couldn't sleep for days!!!

I here ya bro ... it ain't easy loosin' an animal ... we all do our best to take ethical shots (which you did), but sometimes it's just not in the cards ... although it upsets the true sportsman like us, you have to know that it helped some other animal in some way ... I'm sure it didn't go to waste ... better luck next time.
