i'm an orange belt in shotokan. I believe this and heian shodan are almost the same. I realy like the knife hand block. In that style i guess they do the blocks differently. Awesome video !!
@bahamalesster yes mas oyama sosai trained shotokan karate under gichin funakoshi sensei and he changed his style to gojuryu karate. knife hand block is diffrent from shotokan or taekwondo,because oyama sosai put chinese kung fu element to his karate and kyokushin karate stance is not wide as shotokan and hand starts not from waist but from side of chest
@Lee7676 can u tell me if theres anything unique bout kyokushin besides the difference from goju and shotokan? like is there any korean influence other than sosai being korean and the chinese kung fu added to it? cuz seems like kyokushin is like shotokan and goju katas there r harder but shortened to at least 1- 2 minute when performed. it seems to hv more in common with muay thai in terms of kumite. one hit one strike philosophy.

You just skipped straight to 6th Kyu... I think you should consider training elsewhere, I think your dojo might be a little bit less serious than it should be. No disrespect intended, but especially considering you graded by "just watching this" to learn your kata.
In Taekwondo Chung Do Kwan Style they use this form, with the same moves but differently. Why? (Sorry my english)
