I appreciate the artistry and excellent technique, without a doubt a very accomplished pianist, but I am afraid that this beautiful tune is spoiled by too many ornaments and virtuoso flourishes. There is no emotion in this which relates specifically to the original composers intention.
@ImaLanger I would agree. Although the music is wonderful, a song doesn't have to be complex to be stunning. I find that the original tune and emotion are lost within the flourishes.
i agreee! excellent technical ability... but it lost the soul or (as you say)magic of the piece... which is just as important to a performance, as the technical side.
