Some hurtful comments here. Paul Briggs had severe neurological problems. The blow was legit. A man like Mr Briggs doesn't go down like that for no reason, you only need to see his fights with Tomasz Adamek to know Briggs is a warrior. The man took a risk and put his health on the line because like most of us he needed the money. It's worth noting that the original venue in Sydney, New South Wales was cancelled because the NSW combat authority wouldn't sanction the bout.
