I like Fedor, and i think he was the best a couple of years ago. But the problem is MMA is evolving all the time, if you dont evolve yourself, then other will get better. I mean, for example Fedor seems to lose musclemass all the time. He looked much stronger a couple of years ago.
Fedor does not move or hit nearly like he used to. If you watch CroCop vs dos santos - cro cop stood his ground and Dos looked even worse than cro cop did after the fight. But against Prime Fedor Cro cop was always moving back and away. Fedors main attribute really was not skill, but superhuman explosiveness that has now eroded.

Fedor needs to get responsible for his own fights again. His Training never changes.. he is soo smart, with some new ideas, techniques, and strategies he will be champ again. Might help to simply gain a bit of muscle with some basic weight training - which I do not think he does.

Explosiveness is the abiltiy to use strengh very quickly and strongly in a specific movement. But of course he is skilled. He is Fedor. I liked the way he fought his last two fights, very tight and cautious. His 3 big Losses were all based on Mistakes if you think about it.

Fedor needs to get responsible for his own fights again. His Training never changes.. he is soo smart, with some new ideas, techniques, and strategies he will be champ again. @ANALAZER1 I'ts not just htat, Fedor's grappling skills deteriorated. In the past, wrestlers would pushi him against the ring and he would eventually bring them down and submit them with an armbar. I haven't seen Fedor do this since his fight against Matt Linland. Which was like i think 4 years ago.. Fedor needs to utilize his greatest advantage his sambo skills, and bring back his explosiveness, that made him such a dominant fighter in the past. I guarantee u, the old Fedor would kill anyone!

Explosiveness is the abiltiy to use strengh very quickly and strongly in a specific movement. But of course he is skilled. He is Fedor. I liked the way he fought his last two fights, very tight and cautious. His 3 big Losses were all based on Mistakes if you think about it.
