@lazza747 thanx for supporting the proms. 10:06 minutes of sheer heaven. The conductor looks like is really feeling the music. I have been to the albert hall on 3 occasions and have seen the first night of the proms. It is a great venue.

Great accuracy and finesse in the way Valery Gergiev conducts the orchestra. The tempo is slow and ample with a beautiful inner beauty. The tension, melancholy and sadness one after one another appear in every music inflections. One of the best interpretation I have ever heard.

Tempi are too slow. There seems to be an overwhelming desire of a lot of conductors to "schmaltz it up" with this Mvt. This needs to move a long a little more and let the music speak for itself.
