I do watch some of today's television output: Standards have fallen through the floor! It is all very sad.

Back in the early 70's we were taught .conjugate-foci. along with other (slightly less scientific) photographic subjects. We learned such things composition and lighting. They have all been 'thrown out of the window' nowadays.
