Sarah Alexanders voice is dubbed. The voice we hear on the show is actually a woman named Rachel Luxon!

Not as far as I know, at the end of filming the first series the producer said he was very interested in doing another as the executive producers really liked it and were keen, but sadly nothing has come of it. Really enjoyed working on it, and it's true about Sarah Alexander's voice being dubbed. Richard was a great guy also, as was Sarah Lancashire.

Really enjoy this drama, Neil Pearson character is a slimey mid life crisis train wreck. Thought at first Sarah Alexander's voice was dubbed with a real singer, but found out she is a soprano, nice singing
