@foxhound1002 erm, well. It's a bit more complicated than that. Socialism is a widely used term covering alot (ALOT) of different ideologies. The aspect of socialism you describe is a big part of communism, which is one of these ideologies. Actually increasing income tax for free healthcare fits into socialist values such as equality.

I hope you understand this as my english is far from perfect. I do have a ph.d. in political science though, so facts should be right :-)
