  • Awesome Polly! Hurry up with the new album and put this, Lovesick and New York New York on it please

  • Reminded me of my childhood, all the good times. The original was faster, but now, at the age of 50+ this is how it should have sounded. It was a sad time, I am not sure what the song is meant to mean, other than when we stop being children we put away childish things, and Puff "died" because Jackie grew up and stopped coming to play. I have my childhood still in me, so, my Puff will never "die", just get old like me, but we still play happily together. Drying the tears from my eyes now.

  • This makes me cry! At 50!! Such memories. Aaaah

  • very beautiful cover, great job Polly.

  • This is so beautiful, thanks Polly.

You should really release this song on your next album.

  • So fkin random!

  • i heard this on the radio, and burst into tears, childhood goes too fast

  • I adore this beautiful cover by the delightful Polly!

  • aha this is beaut

  • ...

"Mert barát nélkül gyenge még a sárkány is,

Így Paff elbújt a barlangjába, s most híre hamva sincs."

"Paff, a bűvös sárkány, ki senkitől se félt

    Álomország tengerpartján játékok közt élt."

    :)

  • But it's a very sad version of that song.

    For adults only...

  • Igen, éreztem, pedig nem értem. Polly előadásából, és a képekből is ... Tudtam.

  • Polly Scattergood - Puff The Magic Dragon (live, cover)

(Polly's very special version at The Dermot O' Leary Saturday Session, BBC Radio2, 7.03.2009)
