Last year around easter time I was really seeking God by fasting, praying and reading the Word. The garbage that I had willingly and unwillingly let into my mind attacked me day and night. I remember watching this and I would plead the Blood over my mind. For a week I felt as though I had a force field around my mind. I could not think a bad thought if I wanted to. I had never experienced anything like that before. The Blood of Jesus Christ is AMAZING!!!

@Kddiamond Yes the word does say male or female. You have to research the origin of the words Pastor, or Apostle. Look at the word. What examples does it provide? There are no female pastors or apostles. Paul said in no uncertain terms int ebook of timothy, the headship of the church is male.

Well....what does the word say about the headship of the church? What did Paul say about a woman ucerping the authority of a man?

@tbursee The particular church that Paul wrote to was out of order. I believe the church of Corinth. People tryna talk over one another, etc. When we read the bible, we have to understand who they were addressing and why.

@silkaem Paul was addressing specific issues , it is true, but he was also laying out the foundation of the church. Otherwise he never would have said he does not allow a woman to ucerpt the authority over a man, and that goes way beyond people talking out of order. The leadership of the church is spelled out in the book of timothy. And in christ there is neither male nor female , has nother to do with order, or individual roles. Men and women are not interchangeable in God's kingdom.

We see this even in the church. It's not God's will, but until the men step up and stop playing church, God must use someone. I believe though that we'll someday have men after God's own heart who care more about pleasing God than themselves.

But not finding a man to step up is no excuse. The bible everything in decentcy and in order. So God would never go against his order. A man not stepping up is no excuse. Exegetically the scriptures never allowed the women to do anything, however thats why in certain portions of scripture Paul dealt with individuals according to there belief. In Mt. 28:1-10; Lk.24:9-11;Jn. 4:28-30; 20:16-18...Here are some examples of women preaching the gospel...

If Paul was merely addressing "the culture" then he would not have based his point on Adam and Eve in the garden. 2 Tim 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. And your patriarch authority is governed by Christ himself. It started with him and it ended with him. Aint no changing that. Only one head of this government.
