Most metal drummers set their triggers with one impact setting, making the same sound without regard to how hard you play. That means... you can be sloppy with your feet (not hitting the left and right with the same force or whatnot) and it covers it up. One solid sound comes out, without the drummer having to be good enough to play at one solid volume. I'm not saying Leche is a bad drummer, but I've always had mad respect for Kulick for going all acoustic.

The drums sound is perfect, due to triggers. It makes the drums more noticeable and consistent, they are not "cheater" mics by any means, despite what a lot of people say, it just makes each hit the same volume and gives the "perfect" drum sound every single hit, it takes away from tuning all the time, and leaves more time for foot work.
