I saw the raconteurs at the boston pavilion, which is pretty small, maybe 700 people max, but it's a little bit hard to enjoy when your sitting behind a stoner who finds your face very interesting. It was a great concert =)
the rac's were kind enough to visit 3 times in '08,the wonder ballroom holding 800 ppl max!and the roseland(x2shows) might cram in just over a thousand!
I love The Raconteurs, im soo glad i got to see them at the eden project Jun 08, and bumping into Brendan B, Patrick Keeler, Mark Waterhouse and lil Jack L in one of the biomes pre show, was the BEST thing ever, even if i did get lost for words and just smiled insanely at them, P.K was 2ft from me and looked at me the whole time as they walked by!!!! FANTASTIC!!
Not play small venues??!! You shoulda seen what they did in Canada. Played in a public bus, bars, towns in the artic (check out the video "You don't know what love is") on a hill in Nova Scotia - amazing "small venue" stuff! I heard they were doing a DVD o
fn their tour. Anyone know when that's going to be released?
this was a question to the raconteurs not the white stripes :P so they might had been different, but the white stripes did plan to play big venues, here in england, the show i planned to go to... 23k :|
i love the raconteurs but jack whites best was in the white stripes hisworst in my opinion is the dead weather.

I saw the Dead Weather at the Sound Academy in Toronto - great show, but the place holds maybe 500 and the acoustics sucked.
Also, I love that I have trouble telling Jack and Brendan's voices apart.
