"logic is for the weak" Wow!! I could simply turn her argument on its head and say staying away from logic is for the weak because they are afraid they have no ideas and are afraid of being wrong. Once one says logic can not be applied then the result is anything goes and nonsense pervades. Which is exactly what has happened with this postmodernism or post structurilism. Terms are never clearly defined and yet they claim language to be the basis. They should read language, truth and logic

This is a false dilemma. Postmodernism is not the only alternative to modernism, as both have serious flaws. I don't need to hold a teleology to call bullshit on the call to avoid logic, for example.

I think she starts wrongfootedly when she says cience does not have to be "strong enough" -- and then recovers by going on about how science can go about its work quietly and indifferently -- even passively and unselfconsciously. Science seeks to confirm itself as much as it seeks to erase its invention. If it only undid itself it would be known as science.
