Nicely done. Although I do want to add that the music in both... 89 Batman and 05 BB are some of the best in all of comic book movies, it's the reason I love the Batman movies so much. You can't really say one is better than the other because both musical scores fit with their individual movies. Good all the way around though, it's the reason Batman will always outgross all other comic book movies overall. Well done with this vid again! :D
Holy youtube video Batman! That was fantastic. I'm a big fan of botht the nolan films and of the origonal 90's animated series, this was very well put togeather, gave me chills!
@roxfanatic Nah, this movie was laughable at best, corny plot and awful fight scenes that were cut too fast, the best supermovies of all time are Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, and The Dark Knight.
Eh, Elfman's music is just too cartoony for Begins and not gritty enough for it. Elfman's music works perfectly with Burton's movies, Zimmer's music works great for Nolan's movies. They don't mix and match well.

One of my favorite parts of going to see the Batman movies is seeing what they do with Gotham City. Unfortunately they shot Batman Begins in present-day Chicago and then slapped on some CG-elements. Having gone to college in Chicago, this totally killed the fantasy for me. I hope in the new one they return to the Art Deco-Neo-Classical sets they used for Batman Returns.

Batman is by far the sexiest superhero. He's all dark and mysterious...and you're not quite sure if he's good or bad, (but he is good, so it's alright.) Ooooh. So sexy.
i agree i got a highly detailed model of it with all its features but cannot find any figure that will fit in it the cockpit is for M.A.S.K sized figures
Perfect. It actually makes me feel like I'm watching Batman again...Without the music the prequel just wasn't the same. Plus come on, his bat ears look like cute racoon ears hah come on! They just didn't capture batman in these films.
The prequel? News Flash: Batman Begins is a reboot. It's its own film. It has nothing to do with Burton's or Shumacher's Candyland messes. Begins is how Batman should be. Directly from the comics, unlike the old one's.
I'm actually not wild about the Tumbler, either. I think it would be a good supplemental vehicle for Batman, but I don't think it should be THE Batmobile.
quem é realmente fan do filme e pode ver teve a infelicidade de ver o thunder tank no filme do morcego. A história começa bem até que o ator entra no uniforme cheio de musculos de borracha, que pena parecia que daria bons resultados!
I'd love to hear some fanmade vids of the elfman soundtrack and clips from the dark knight once we've all seen it..that would be awesome. The elfman music seems more fitting when he's pitted against his arch nemesis...
the only thing i hate about this movie is batman's voice. its cracky... it's obvious that he's forcing it to sound deep. the essence of dark & mysterious personality is vague

I still have to see this movie. The first two are classic i didn't like Batman & Robin and Forever. This one must be good it's rated with the 250 best movies at imdb.
I did see this movie cause I thought it was going to be another "Batman Beyond & Batman Forever" film. For this type of criteria (action), 90's were horrible for it. That was the time when they just started to get a feel of mixing technology from animation into reality.
But my question is, who were the MAIN villains in this storyline? I want to know. I don't reckon that the Joker and the Riddler (best villains ever) were in it.
It was the "Scarecrow", but in the end it gives you the glimpse of the "Joker" coming in next film ( if they do it ), but very nice movie, it explains all the basics that the 90's did not, like how the F&*^ did he learn to fight like that, and how exactly he gets all the gadgets. :D
Really? I cannot wait for the next film then! JOKER (and The Riddler) is the reason why the Batman is so popular. Did the Joker look pretty realistic - what were his action at the end? Gotta know! :P
I liked the music from the original movies, but I think I liked this movie better overall. Katie Holmes withstanding, I thought the cast was well picked.
Batman Begins was a huge disappointment for me. It wasn't bad, but Tim Burton's two Batman movies were so much better. They tried to be as dark and twisted as Burton, but that's impossible. They almost pulled it off, but I wasn't moved by the film at all.
they werent going for dark. they were going for justice, while burton was going for revenge. batman in batman begins was a predominantly good guy...but batman in batman '89 was f****ed up; he blew up some clowns, set them on fire, etc. both versions are cool to me. but u really cant compare the two.
It's the same story, and revenge is the underlying plot in both of them. Begins tries to be screwed up with the scarecrow, but doesn't do as good of a job as Burton did. I agree it was still a great movie, it just is missing something without Burton directing.
I have always seen the Scarecrow as more a victimizer than a victim of his own psyche. Before he got "a taste of his own medicine" our good doctor was that way. His scene with Rachel Dawes was right out of a horror film. He wanted absolute control over everyone around him.
Always thought that the Scarecrow, along with Penguin and Killer Croc should have been sent to Blackgate Prison rather than Arkham Asylum in the comics.
WOW that made BB look really cool. it gave it that little 'thing' it seemed to miss. i liked BB but the score SUCKED. nothing like the original danny elfman score...
Cool video but the Danny Elfman score just doesn't fit with the Batman Begins film. Elfman has a tendency to let his scores get a bit zaney or circus like.
Boy do I disagree with you and mxaa! Elfman's Batman theme is the defining theme for me - the perfect mix of heroism and darkness. Hans Zimmer's score didn't seem memorable enough for Batman - it was too boring. It would have been cool for Nolan & Co. to recruit Danny Elfman and his classic Batman theme - but with a few more serious changes (by now Elfman's a seasoned vet with movie scores, and he can do serious - see the film "Extreme Measures")
Ya, I was surprised at how unimaginative Zimmer's score was, especially after his Pirates score (although he just took most of the themes from the first film). Oh well, Batman Begins could have been better, but it definitely didn't suck.
Zimmer and Newton Howard had made a Batman theme but decided to keep it out. However, they have mentioned that they will probably use it in the next movie.
yeah....the reason for not including it in Batman Begins was because they felt that the movie didnt require a theme since it was about him slowly finding his way. And even though he has got the Bat costume, his journey has only just begun as Batman. So I think they feel it will be more appropriate to include that theme they made for The Dark Knight.
I was simply saying that the original Elfman theme and score would not fit in with Batman Begins because it was a bit circus like which what Elfman has a tendency to do even now. If Elfman would alter the original somewhat it would prolly fit in with Begins but if you were to take the Elfmans 89 score and put in Begins it would just feel out of place through out most of the movie in my opinion.
Yoda, you made an amazing video. I loved how you mixed the Danny Elfman theme with the movie clips of the great Batman Begins film. I can't wait for the Dark Knight movie next year. It's going to bring the house DOWN I tell you. Man I'm proud to be a Batman fan. 5/5 stars.
christian bale, anybody think he sounded like george mcfly from back to the future when he reveals to katie holmes that he is batman? oh, and the icing on the cake, to make reference to the joker at the end of batman begins was just annoying. the guilty party behind the movie obviously fucked up there. ' oh hang on, i dont want to be associated with previous movies so i'll just skip to the fact that a major villain, created by batman, already exists'...go cash in on something else. bastard
The old score was good, but I always thought it's more fit for a comic-book type direction. Michael Keaton's Batman movies were just that: kinda serious, kinda goofy, all entertainment. Nolan's Batman Begins is a much darker movie that seriously explores the inner workings of its main characters, so I feel its official soundtrack portrays that much better.
I believe this was the best batman yet. This guy is a little cold but he is totally believable and filled out the character Batman much better than George Clooney. Naw Meen? George Clooney Sucks

Batman Begins was a huge disappointment for me. It wasn't bad, but Tim Burton's two Batman movies were so much better. They tried to be as dark and twisted as Burton, but that's impossible. They almost pulled it off, but I wasn't moved by the film at all.
schellenberg1 4 years ago
they werent going for dark. they were going for justice, while burton was going for revenge. batman in batman begins was a predominantly good guy...but batman in batman '89 was f****ed up; he blew up some clowns, set them on fire, etc. both versions are cool to me. but u really cant compare the two.
xviolentphilx 4 years ago
It's the same story, and revenge is the underlying plot in both of them. Begins tries to be screwed up with the scarecrow, but doesn't do as good of a job as Burton did. I agree it was still a great movie, it just is missing something without Burton directing.
explosivo101 4 years ago

Darthlongi 4 years ago
music = wrong, stick with the original batman begins score.
mxaa 4 years ago
Cool video but the Danny Elfman score just doesn't fit with the Batman Begins film. Elfman has a tendency to let his scores get a bit zaney or circus like.
krazie835 4 years ago
haha he was in Oingo Boingo!
djphatd 4 years ago
Boy do I disagree with you and mxaa! Elfman's Batman theme is the defining theme for me - the perfect mix of heroism and darkness. Hans Zimmer's score didn't seem memorable enough for Batman - it was too boring. It would have been cool for Nolan & Co. to recruit Danny Elfman and his classic Batman theme - but with a few more serious changes (by now Elfman's a seasoned vet with movie scores, and he can do serious - see the film "Extreme Measures")
Ironcabbit 4 years ago
Ya, I was surprised at how unimaginative Zimmer's score was, especially after his Pirates score (although he just took most of the themes from the first film). Oh well, Batman Begins could have been better, but it definitely didn't suck.
explosivo101 4 years ago
Zimmer and Newton Howard had made a Batman theme but decided to keep it out. However, they have mentioned that they will probably use it in the next movie.
thewcguy 4 years ago
u serious?!?! wow
djphatd 4 years ago
yeah....the reason for not including it in Batman Begins was because they felt that the movie didnt require a theme since it was about him slowly finding his way. And even though he has got the Bat costume, his journey has only just begun as Batman. So I think they feel it will be more appropriate to include that theme they made for The Dark Knight.
thewcguy 4 years ago

5/5 stars.

the batman begins costume is trash,my favorite one is michael keytons from the 1989 movie....that wasnt the one with nipples was it?
stylesclash101 4 years ago
haha naw, the nipples was like the 4th movie hahaha

yes, i also like watching keaton arch his torso to look up cause he cant move his neck in the suite
thetrooper1984 4 years ago
Yes, I agree with you there, lmao. The 1989 film had the original high-tech suit from the animation series--which made it really facinating.
I thought the Batman (1966 series) costume was absolutely shameful. That was the type of suite that you can get for Halloween at the price of $20.
You made a good point.
ChrisRodrigi 4 years ago
It may have been trash, but it was more mobile, was established better, and allowed Batman to be the first-class ninja he's supposed to be.

i love how Batman totally lacks superpowers yet he still kicks ass

christian bale, anybody think he sounded like george mcfly from back to the future when he reveals to katie holmes that he is batman? oh, and the icing on the cake, to make reference to the joker at the end of batman begins was just annoying. the guilty party behind the movie obviously fucked up there. ' oh hang on, i dont want to be associated with previous movies so i'll just skip to the fact that a major villain, created by batman, already exists'...go cash in on something else. bastard

Yes the Elfman Batman soudntrack is awesome. yes we all recognise it as being BATMAN. however
the director of batman begins didnt want his film to be associated to the first 4 batman films, which is why
he did not use the oringal score. Sure the music was good, but do we also want to be reminded of that atrocious Batman and robin movie???
darockk 4 years ago
Regardless, very good editing by the way. Looks and sounds professional.
MastaRyu 4 years ago
The old score was good, but I always thought it's more fit for a comic-book type direction. Michael Keaton's Batman movies were just that: kinda serious, kinda goofy, all entertainment. Nolan's Batman Begins is a much darker movie that seriously explores the inner workings of its main characters, so I feel its official soundtrack portrays that much better.
MastaRyu 4 years ago
I couldn't agree with you more man. In a way it's almost as if you said what I was going to say.

I like the old batman music with the new batman trailer. Atleast when Superman Returns came out, it still had the classic superman theme music

I believe this was the best batman yet. This guy is a little cold but he is totally believable and filled out the character Batman much better than George Clooney. Naw Meen? George Clooney Sucks

Even though the Begins music is astonishing, but compared to Elfmans version; crap.
