  • That try should not have been awarded, the lineouts is illegal.

  • Class

  • brilliant combination

  • You don't see this that often anymore haha.

  • Great try, I just people wouldn't label these videos "best try ever" just to get hits. It's clearly a very good try, but best ever?

  • shut up cardiffboy haha. you guys suck at rugby

  • best part of the try....Anton Oliver managed to throw the ball straight!

  • yes - best try ever!

  • Coached, lifeless, cold ,robotic SHITE.

  • @cardiffboy I think the opposite... So often you see brilliant tries that are all out of the blue and un-planned play (not denying they're good but they're common), but what makes this try the best is that it is a planned set piece try, which is a very rare try from any team.

  • This was back when the All Blacks were really entertaining. Now they're considered entertaining just for being the only team that remembers how to score tries. Back then they had the whole Harlem Globetrotters vibe

  • double scissor in a split second... amazing!

  • 3 forward passes missed in that whole set play.

  • @biggsy78 Sounds like you missed 3 Science classes on basic physics. Not a single forward pass in that video.

  • the best tactical try from a very well executed set piece. Would like to see a team come up with tries like these in the game today

  • OMG......

  • this must have been rehearsed so many times xD

  • AAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA THE BEST!!!!!!!!!! WOOWW!!!!

  • agreed absolutely! i've been looking for this for years! best try ever for sure.

  • aint as good as gaqreth edwards

  • That is not even the best Try scored by Christian Cullen.

Man I loved watching that man play.

  • paintballjunkie65 fuck off and go talk shit somewhere else

Football aint got shit on Rugby

  • The great Christian Cullen, the best full back nz ever produced

  • that is sick!!!

  • absolutely beautiful

  • USA

  • @paintballjunkie65 USA suck at rugby? is that what you meant haha

  • @Tawhguy wut i meant is american football players are 10x the athletes then any1 in the world, their bigger faster stronger, for speed, ronaldo hill ran a 4.36 40 yard dash, theres over 50 players in the nfl that run that and theres 20 players faster than that. the nfl has guys 6'9 380lbs that can bench press 850lbs, which means they would grab a rugby player and break them in half, plus if we went to war we would whoop your countrys ass in the first day bitch. hahaha. who runs the U.N.? the U.S

  • @paintballjunkies haha football players are fags. 6'9 and 380 lbs of slow moving, unfit, no catching, no tackling pieces of shit. In rugby you have to have a more diverse game, you have to be able to run, tackle and you dont get stoppages every 12 seconds. haha break them in half? are you retarded the average lock in rugby is around 6'8. Thers a 6'7 player. That can run 100m in almost 10 seconds flat.

  • @Tawhguy uhm lets see ufint u say? chris johnson is 100x faster than any1 in the nrl. 4.19 40 yard dash mean anything to you? and american football players are bigger and faster than nrl players, they dont last as long but its because american football is a more explosive sport, an nrl player=toyota prius, an nfl player=top fuel drag car, the nfl is shorter but ten time as explosive. every1 knows the more muscle you have, the faster you get tired because your body is trying to get O2 to muscles.

  • @paintballjunkie65 hahahaha you are a retard. Fit as in, run continuously for 80 minutes. Fit as in running tackling getting punched and stomped on the head for 80 minutes. fit as in no pads no quick breaks and no 50 man team. Have you seen rugby players, they are huge, just as big as the nfl. The nfl is shorter because they cant handle shit compared to rugby players. explosive? it takes 4 hours to play one hour of gametime, and whenever theres a big hit its because its a blind shot

  • @paintballjunkie65 haha what does war have to do with that, if you went to war with us half the world would go against you coz nobody likes you. Whos the most arrogant nation on the planet? the U.S

  • @Tawhguy umm lets see we have the uk as our allie and isreal is our allie, wut the fuck is new zealand going to do when we are bombing the fuck out of them? wut are u guys gunna throw spears at our jets???? we have f-22raptors that took out 16 of our f-16's, so wut do u think an f-22 would do to you counrties fuckin WWll airplanes hahahahahaha

  • @paintballjunkie65 haha uk doesnt even like you. Where under their rule so if you hurt us youll have half of their world on your ass. haha you are such a dumb ass. What do you think our physically superior, victorian cross receiving soldiers would do to your fat ass, cock sucking arrogant people that you call an army.

Man its people like you which is why the world hates americans, your arrogant. and you have your heads so far up your ass that you cant even see it.

  • @Tawhguy ummm does it really matter if know one likes us? were like the biggest kid in school, whether you like us or not, no1 fucks with us. and your country is a fuckin joke, there is 5 super powers and you dumbasses are not one of them.haha. and whats is like being under another countrys rule? haha wuts it like bein sum1 else bitch? the US would ass fuck the shit out f you, not to mention we have isreal who does like us and has the most superior special forces in the world. so good by to you.

  • @paintballjunkie65 haha for one no one would back you up. Where the popular kid school and everyone has our back. So have fun with Israel while we get the rest of the world. haha super powers? what the fuck are you a kid, that has nothing to do with anything. haha bitch? so being is a bitch is having most of the world as back up? haha you are a retard. You didnt even reply to anything about rugby and your precious football, you know why? because football aint got shit on rugby and you know it.

  • @Tawhguy theres no argument about football, its better, and yeah it is being a bitch, at least u admit that the nerdy kid needs like 10 "ppl" to help him against one guy, and no1 would help u, they would be like france and bitch out, when france pulled outta iraq 5 years ago, we said they were no longer our allie, and do u know wut they did? they went back in because they are scared of us, and france would fuckur guys shit up, so when u guys have running water and electricity, then talk to me.ha

  • @paintballjunkie65 haha then how come you didnt give any response to anything i said about fagball bitch. haha iraq would probably help us, france are natural pussies so theyd go to who would win and that would be us ass wipe, 3/4 of the world against arrogant country who think they dominate the world, pretty obvious pick.

  • @Tawhguy yeah right, germnay would have done it 70yrs ago if it wasnt for our bombs, we drop one hydrogen bomb on new zealand, and its good bye 3rd world country. we could do that to any fuckin country we want to. u guys are pussies who need help and u woul still get ass fucked. but at least u admit u cant match up against us one on one. thats like saying brock lesnar can fight beacuse he fights 20 alright fighters at the same time. either way we are still the most powerul..............haha

  • @paintballjunkie65 dude ill admit you guys are powerful, but you would get ass fucked by the entire world if you even did anything. Brock Lesnar? ohhhh your one of those fag ufc junkies, Brock Lesnar has nothing to do with anything. Your just trying to evade the fact that your wrong. And once again you have no comeback to rugby, what a bitch your a waste of sperm your dad should have shot the load you were in straight in the toilet

  • @paintballjunkie65 lol check out this softy talking about military to back up his aspect on american football being more intense, rugby is way more intense, you see in rugby we dont wear padding and massive helmets, wer not pansies, straight up man power is you first level of defence, not like you would know what man power is :P

  • They wrong footed them twice, that was always going to be a try from then on. Brilliant, from England.

  • This try my dear rugby fans, can only come from a great team!

  • WHITEBOARD PLAY

  • BLACKBOARD PLAY

  • Great try. Best ever no. Fantastic move

  • This set piece is beautiful!

  • why dont they do tries like this anymore!!!!

  • @ysmi03 cause it would never work, defences these days are far too good,

  • wow its only in the replay when you really see the proper skill of the try

  • Amazing try but i have seen better

  • Like?

  • good try but not the best ever!

  • Comment removed

  • The lift was mental :)

  • Was that Matt Giteau that missed that tackle on Umaga

  • no, it was Jason Little

  • I have seen some amazing tries, individual tries and good team efforts, but that as a set piece play is a remarkable try. Sure there might be better spontaneous individual and team tries, but certainly not many!!

    Great try.

  • whoever came up with that play is to goood

  • wow

  • Nz is good for now..but sooner or later these other countries are gonna step up..and its gonna be tough all roudner..im kinda sick of seeing 2/3 teams dominate rugby union i like seeing the underdogs win or put up a good match against the hard teams. When it comes to World Cup ....ANY TEAM CAN WIN.

  • @Malobro That is true but this tri-nations, complete domination by nz.

  • @Malobro NZ are gonn get better and better just like any other team. its the rate of which the team evolves and gets better is what defines them from others.

  • The All blacks overall record in internationals is about 75%.

To put it simply they've won 3 out of every 4 tests.

No other team comes close to that. Not even the South Africans .

  • Still choke when it matters though don't they.

  • @SJACK13

Dude you're from the United Kingdom. When you actually beat us then you can say that we choke.

  • We don't need to beat you to say that you choke when it matters. I could be from Tibet and still say it. Its a fact.

  • @SJACK13

So basically because when ever we lose in a World Cup we're the ones that are 'chokers'. We pretty much school all teams from the united Kingdom.

Every game that Wales plays against us they must choke according to your logic. They haven't beaten us in 56 years so every time we play them it matters, we haven't "choked" against Wales in 56 years. We still have the Bledisloe Cup and that matters to New Zealand & Australia. No choking their either.

  • Yep thats pretty much it. New Zealand go into nearly every world cup as overwhelming favourites especially 2007 and yet fail to bring home the trophy. They dominate world rugby beat everybody leading up to the world cup and yet when it matters they don't deliver. That to me makes NZ chokers. I have been to NZ mate and don't tell me the world cup doesn't matter to you kiwi's. Beautiful country by the way.

  • Well England still got to more finals then you have ;) 1991, 2003,2007 and you got what? 1987 and 1995!

  • @lordmasters101

yeh but we won more games agaist you aint you herd we a the best

  • @Brownpride313

Clearly you are the best, just shame you choke at the world cups ;)

  • actually NZ are no 1 after the south africa lost three consecutive games overseas, two of which weren't international

  • but de irish beat em aswel!!!! cum on ireland woooo!!!

  • OH MY GODNESS

  • well first off South Africa are currently ranked no.1 after demolishing the Kiwis in the Tri nations and IRELAND ROCK!!

  • fuck off ireland are class.who won the last 6 nations grandslam??ireland did so get lost ireland are class!this is such a great try though

  • DATS MA TEAM

    NZ

  • amazin well good wat a try

  • wow perfect try or what

  • not dat good!!???

that i such a great play, ur probably aussie or some british (no offence to any aussie or british)

  • Eehhh, Brian is a fucking legend. And Ireland get thrashed as always? Wo won the Six nations mate, and the Lions couldn't win for fuck if they didn't have us. So go stick that up your ass, OneFootThumper. Little faggot.

  • Fuck you the all blacks always have been and always will be consistently the most dominating team in world rugby!! Bar none!

  • all blacks are de best for 3yrs aan 10 months between world cups then they choke

  • except for when it counts

  • haha im american and have just gotten into rugby, i play for my school. but u have to admitt that this is a good play

  • those switch passes got me confused O.o'?

  • possably a forward pass from the winger to cullen... quality try though

    cullens the man btw

  • How many switch passes was in that!??!

    Magnificent

  • mean try

  • amazing...truly great play

  • Wow, i feel bad for the aussuies because that was the basic of all basic rugby moves....i even remember doing in primary school. lolz, this guyz are the workz mate!

  • shieeeeeeeeeeeeeet this guyz are the works .this is way supa rugby has evolved.

  • the 2nd best all black team, ABs 1996 the best team ever

  • omg the most amazing set play ever. evreryone got involved and its just naturally allblack

  • yh thats gatta be the best try :p

  • I'm an aussie, but who can deny, that is one of the best tries up to date!

  • thats just brilliant! wow, from start to finish, being a forward myself i especially liked the lineout where it only took one person to lift the jumper

  • The All Blacks are only good at tiny little competitions such as the Tri-Nations, At world cup they will always choke.

  • lik ur mum does on my dik

  • not the best, but one of them

  • this is the best... really the best !

  • The O'Driscoll Try Was A Good Individual Try, But This Try Is A Mixture Of Team Play And Individual Runs.

  • The best ever set piece try. The timing, angles, handling and execution was PERFECT. O'Driscoll is a cry baby, whinges like an adolescent girl. This is rugby, no room for posers! Watch Kirwan, Lomu, Cullens tries

  • fuck you man,im irish and you do not insult Brian O'Driscoll.he is a great player, but i have to say he is a small tiny bit over rated,he is a great leader though

  • My point exactly.. Another whinging Irishman. I agree he's a good player, but he's an even better cry baby. Comes to new zealand with the Lions team, gets tackled on his head, then makes sure the whole world knows. The All Blacks tour Europe later, Play Ireland who get thrashed as always, All the commentaters can talk about is the tackle back in NZ but not the All Blacks win. Hence my comment that Brian is a cry baby. This is Rubgy mate not Playing Dress Up.

  • where the fuck u 4m?

  • @OneFootThumper it was the media that made sure the world knew about it. he never liked talking about it cause he was so ashamed. and ireland hardly always get trashed if they are ranked 3rd in the world. And im english for the record.

  • brilliant Try,shame about the forward pass at the end !!!

  • Oh piss off !

    The simple intercept try ?

A blind dog with a note in it's mouth could score that try !

  • fuk dat shiet jonah lomus tries ae waaay fukn betta

  • @cspace1234nz What intercept? (Trolling?)

  • @PeterMMM Hey the way these youtube comments are displayed these days my response to someones original comment doesn't relate anymore, looks like just an obscure comment on it's own.

This to me is one of the ultimate tries, some clown tried to say that some intercept try was better.

Ahhhh, you had to be there !

  • Prob the best set piece move in my opinion. O'driscoll the best cry baby ever. I agree with cspace1234nz.

  • mortlocks 2003 semifinal intercept boned that.... the commentators accent is weird, wheres he from

  • Aussies take it up the ass doo daa doo daa big wooly ram with a dick in there ass all the doo daa day

  • there was an incredible tactic try from Sale, can't find it though!

  • prolly one of the best set plays i hav ever seeeen!

the little dummy scrum in the middle is awesum!!

  • charitymarbles and dartmoordog make a great couple, bet they catch up in oz!!

But I have to say, that Darty sounds a bit more intelligent even if he doesn't know much about the game.

  • Im guessing your a fuckin Aussie arent ya mate!! When was the last time you guys won a Bledisloe or Tri Nations?! Been a while hasn't it! Oh did a dingo eat your baby!!

  • Comment removed

  • what a move 10 out of 10

  • i like it coz it looks rehersed or somthing

  • no shit, cos they came up with that on the spot

  • lmfao (:

can tell ppl dont play rugby :L

  • putt in "l'essai du bout du monde", you'll see what a damned good try is made of !

  • fukin textbook style

  • Thats a good try.

  • and thats what makes the kiwis the best in the world!

  • There was only one thing that Mat Burke was good at and that was single handling himself.

So you can prefer Mat Burke if you want and remember the times where he did SFA! and get on the Campeze train where you might be able to argue a little better.

  • Good try, but I hate the All Blacks and prefer to remember Mat Burke single handedly destroying the Kiwis. Get stuffed New Zealand!!!

  • aussie suks!! thts y they have a kiwi coach now!!!

  • WHAT THE FUCK! THTS IMPOSSIBLE! 5/5

  • That was good!

    a nice play

    5/5

  • id say dat is d best try and play ever

  • tana is beautiful, yes jonno is nice, must be due to his time down here with us

  • The trouble is, I have travelled NZ twice and about to travel Aus for the third time, for 5 weeks. A little bit of yas has rubbed off on me, anyone gives me or my country shit, they get it back...I mean that as a compliment by the way. Unless your Maori, we are probably related bro...Hey, think of that!

  • Cuz, I think most of the spite between poms and kiwis re rugby is due to the tit for tat battle thats being going on via rugby journos in the newspapers over the last decade or more. Some of those guys (pom and kiwi journos) just keep trying to amp it up and a lot of the fans buy into it. I like the brits and irish, funny feckers, and thats where my dna hails from 150 yrs back, irish mums sides, scots the old man side.... jeezus come to think of it maybe I should hate the poms lol

  • Yeah mate, my grandfather was Irish and my wife is a Scot. I reckon we are all mongrels really. I mean, my kids are half Scot half English, with just a little Irish added on. To be honest mate, I could do with a bit of Kiwi, dual nationality, dual passport! Umaga is not as nice Jonno, he is realy nice...And better looking!! :0)

  • Have you got the clock ticking down to the final whistle of the 2011 RWC, like you did in Wellington last time?

  • not sure? what part of welly was that mate? were you here with the balmy army in 05? I got on the piss before and after the 2nd test at the stadium with a bunch of welsh and english fellas, funny feckers, good fun

  • Yeah, I was there. Saw the Wellington match at the Tin, but not the test. I was up in a redneck town west of PN, on the piss with a load of my Kiwi mates, after watching them play in the afternoon. OK you found me out, I gotta lot of Kiwi mates, from Cambridge, PN, Ashburton and Havelock, met some great people got pissed in Hokatika and Havelock, and threw up on the ferry back to welly. Sorry, I just cant stand the ABs. Still friends!

  • no worries mate, I love a good wind up. Umaga is a lovely bloke by the way :)

  • Yes Sanders is something to see but you cant beat the teamwork this here sport requires. If you could get an american football team to work together on this level then you would be unbeatable. And if you could reintroduce this lateral passing that at one time was common in american ball about 100 years ago lol the game would be very interesting. There is not enough discipline in american ball for the lateral on the fly. To much focus on the individual glory. And I am a yank played both sports.

  • WEAAK! id like to see strong

  • i just typed it in. its shitty american football for fucks sake.

  • absolutely brilliant!

  • Nice one mate, keep it up.

  • Yea, I know mate. But have a close look...Dont you think there where 3 forward passes in this passage.

  • umaga owns that try

  • Dont you have to pass the ball backwards in rugby?

  • there are no forward passes in that movement

  • Apart from 10 to 12, 12 to 13, and 14 to fifteen. Apart from that it was fine.

  • you are obviously unfamiliar with the laws in rugby. The are no forward passes in that movement

  • Mmmmm. Is it not a forward pass, when the ball is passed...Well, forward!

  • read the laws, if a pass is flat it is not forward, it can even go forward due to momentum and still not be a forward pass, the passes you have highlighted are dead flat, they are not forward passes

  • You say they are flat, I think they are forward!

  • Of course you do, your opinion would be different however if the above try was put together by guys wearing white (highly unlikey though I admit)

  • A forward pass, is a forward pass. Whatever shirt is being worn.

  • yes of course it is you kiwi hating pommie, stop trolling, lol

  • Mmmm, just because I disagree over a minor issue, I am a Kiwi hater! Very interesting thought process. Very insecure.

  • haha wateva mate, you poms make me laugh

  • I am so glad I bring happiness to your otherwise dreary life.

  • I am glad to, and thankful. You complete me

  • Please, please. The pleasure is all mine.

  • shameless fishing, lol, did you see I responded to your comments on a pulp sport BOD Umaga vid? snapped bro lol, not kiwi hating honest haha, cheers dude

  • Damm, thats me caught out! Whatever shall I do.....Cheers dude

  • you could learn to love us sweet tender kiwis, we are not so bad, we have nothing but respect and adulation for mother england

  • Mmmmmmmmm......Total shite.

  • dont be so insecure, we love you guys

  • Ooooh, thats nice. We know how much you love us, because most of you live here. But not as much as we love you. We REALY love you! We kind of look at you as a little Island...Or two, which is a minor part of Australia or something....You are near Australia aint you? Oh, and we eat your butter...Very nice it is too.

  • oh dear

  • No realy.....Your butter is very nice!

  • I am pleased you like our butter. I am thinking of coming to the uk, can i stay at your place? Just a few months will be fine
