do I have to conect the exponent to some speakers or amplifier ? It works fine with torq but somehow when I press play, sound dont come out from my laptop speakers ...Could it be a glitch ? I hope not ... I just got the xponent and not being able to play with it is such a torture >.<

you can use Torq as a DVS, so yes, you can hook up external turntables

2. How do you get it so that the sound output comes out of the pc? atm mine is set to go straight to the output mixer

yes you can.. just enter the setup-stuff and then you can connect the Torq Xponent. pretty simple actually.. =)

Actually those speakers suck, the signal from the Xponent is directly connected to the camera so it has nothing to with the spekers(i mean the sound that u hear) :)

I use the Xponent as well. Great music selection. Right now I am in the proccess of pre-cueing all my music so I can do crazy stuff while on the live show stage, and not worry so much about counting beats and matching them up. you have almost the same setup as me, you do a lot of house parties? hehe
