This song is like me and my best friend. were inseptarable, we always did the most stupid stuff like drivin down the highway with our dirtbikes passin cars in wheelys. we just didnt care what we did we did it an never got caught. we lived by the motto Just dont stop,
Unless nobody noticed - the black and white shots in this video are an homage to Robert Frank's "The Americans"... very well done video. (And excellent song, too!... and that's Kenny Aronoff on the drums!!)
One of many that Waylon Jennings hits right at the soul. I want to thank Tixi for sharing this beautiful song/video. I have searched and searched, but I still have not been able to locate this song. Thank you, again.
am finding stuff i havent seen from waylon...like this....what he was going through with his health i think this is pretty good...miss him bigtime...as most fans do
@yap350 It's still out there.. just looking for it.. miss the old times of big fireplaces in the yard, cookin on a brick, made by hand grill, the dogs and the kids all runnin about the place.. oh yeah..
Check out the YouTube Video of the SR-71 with this song. TALK about "goosebumps"...especially when you know what it took to design and build it in the 50's....
if you look close you see shooters wife the girl from the sopranos in the video at 120 and then again at the very end wonder if this is where she meet shooter while they made this video???
The one who disliked this voted for obama. He thinks he's the shit. He's right. He is. And he sure as hell stinks like it too...might as well light one up, he'll be lit up soon enough...don't come after me now...i'm only kidding.
@drunkinpainter666 Yeah but the way teens are dressing and acting, our coutry might be PUSSYFIED unless they realise how fuckng dumb they look the way they dress and act. And your'e hearing this from a 15 yr old.
God Bless Waylon Jennings!!! Today's 'country music' is so lacking soul. I cannot imagine where music would be today if it wasnt for Waylon, Buddy, Willie. Thank the Lord we have Shooter, Jamie Johnson . This is a very cool video Waylon Jennings and Harley Davidson Motorcycles both American Originals.
My Favorite Country Music Singer!!! Straight outta nowhere, and a little bit out of our minds, we were courtin disaster, one foot over the line, one for the show, and two for old shorty an me, we were the wild ones, we had the town up a tree. We were the Wild Ones, the ones they couldn't control, we were survivors hearts body and soul, we were the winners, cause we didn't know we could fail, we were the wild ones we had the world by the tail. She was a lady, when a lady wasnt easy to be...
WE DONT FAIL, Waylon Jennings, my mom used 2 say " a mistake is a learning experience" RIP she passed 2 a better place, I believe, 2yrs. ago, dis month.

@FALCONengland thanks for the info. i appreciate. i always liked this song. it's W looking back on his career/life. often is the case that the band in the video wasn't the band in the studio. best wishes. thanks again.
you all have that right hass there will never be a another waylon and leagonds never die so his music his voice and his rebelion of the industary will live for ever they broke the mold when god created Waylon Jennings may his music live forever.
Thank You Tixi for posting this most beautiful, haunting and emotional song. It bring chills to the spine from it's sweet melody . Waylon to me was the perfect Icon of American Country Music. Ask the Dukes.....they'll agree... I think this must be the song that summed up his great talent and probably my favorite.
By the time WJ recorded this he had Diabetes,,,he'd lose a foot before succumbing to the disease seven years later. You can hear the pathos in his haunting tones. "We were the music,,,we had a song we could sing." God Speed Hoss!!
waylon's voice just got better and better with age....and of course he can flat out play with anyone on guitar.....this is one of my favs...with an outlaw flavor.... we wild !!
Waylon told nashville and the opry to kiss his Outlaw ass....the man will always be the king of country, did more for music then anyone, he fought for and gave musicians musical freedom...
i was lucky enough to have lunch with waylon and willie one day. i was in houston town back in 88 i was laying steal for the rail road and they were doing a show. i walked into a taco bell. down there. and i gave them both a new pair of work gloves with the union pacific emblem on them. what was so cool is they were interested in my job to. i was just in ahh the whole lunch hour. god bless them both.
