+ 1 for the description because.. well it's true, the only reason people use 9's characters is because... well, it's like with GG characters. the Crap creator has the Monopoly on the characters and finding good alts is a Pain.
That's my two cents. the fight itself is fine, feels Filler-ish, but it's fine.
Uh, excuse me? Muteki is an insanely skilled creator and coder. His characters simply suffer from the fact that they are 99% accurate to their source, and Guilty Gear has so damn many mechanics, such high damage, and such bloated movesets that it's characters are ONLY balanced amongst themselves, not amongst the majority of fighters from other games with their basic gameplay or balance level intact. Oh, that, and the AI is abusive even on low levels.
On the other hand, some of the Melty Blood cast (Shiki Tohno, Miyako, Satsuki, Sion) would be perfectly balanced in MUGEN if only they were accurate to MBAC version B. Others would still be somewhat broken (Arcueid, Red Arc, Kohaku, Warachia), but still beatable. People use 9's characters because they're flashy, custom and broken, and most players have low skill, so they like flashy stuff, broken stuff, and original stuff seemingly ONLY when it's broken. Forgive me if I sound a little like ESX5.
Nah I get what you'er saying. also it has to do with that 9 has made so many MB characters people look at him and think they're getting the definite MB experience. Same problem with Beppu/Kong/etc.
Thanks. You know, EvilSlayer actually believed that, too, but unlike him, I'm not going to go completely insane and assume that there must be some sort of massive brainwashing conspiracy afoot. People like popularity, and they like fitting in. Most people these days have this mentality that says "joining the biggest/strongest group possible is the best thing I can do with my life, because that will give me POWER!". So they set their standards lower because everyone else does.

Thankfully, I didn't start to play with 9's conversions. It's very difficult to correct your aim once you got bad habits with corrupted stuff.
