a sweet car, I favor the Land Cruiser version better, the front is different and the LX looks a bit like a girl, BUT i own 13 Land Cruisers and 2 LX450, and 1 LX470 and they are amazing off roaders, there is truely nothing that can hang with this vehicle off road, except Toyotas 2009 76,78 and 79 series Land Cruisers which have solid axles and lockers, but you will not get those in US...
you want the difference? the toyota version is for the poor man. the lexus is for the rich guy. the toyota version is for serious offroad activities where as the lexus is for travel in comfort and safety. although both versions are almost equally safe and comfortable to be in. it's just that the lexus feels rich inside.
the lexus has lots of sound deafening or sound proof materials to reduce engine noise and wind noise. and it has the best inside feeling and touching.
once again...NO THEY ARE NOT sure they run of the same platform but the lexus version is better...its better built from its toyota version..the inteior in both cars are different (lexus one is better) you get the lexus serivce...it looks more stylish more rich...rims there are many different things...stop being a ass hole
