This made me check etsy and then e-bay; and, not only did I find less expensive versions for sale at those sites, I found inexpensive yards of the material used (double fold elastic) to make my own. Hey Lorraine. I actually have a friend that works for emi-jay. You're correct. They give portions of their profit to charities like Locks of Love. This month in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, they made a special hair tie package called the BonBon. All the hair ties are pretty. One thing about the Sephora ones though: they are pretty cheap and the distance between the knot and the tail is pretty close. Either way, it's nice to know that you support businesses who support charities.
