Im trying to find more games like this they call 2.5d, all i have found are: Voxeltron, 3d dot game heroes, bitworld and las but not least mniecraft. If anyone knows ,ore please reply
@TheFlyingVideo 2.5-D can mean two different things, but neither definition would include this or Minecraft. 2.5-D originally meant games that run on a 2D engine, but let the player walk around in 3 dimensions, like 8/16-bit beatemups (TMNT, etc). More recently, 2.5-D has been used to describe games with a 3D engine but restrict you to 2D movements (NSMBW, etc). All the games you mentioned, though, are regular 3D games with 3D graphics, though most of them are voxel-based rather than polygonal.
I LOVE voxels, they're so useful and cool. I like the programming better too of voxel vs. polygonal technology, and the possibilities voxels present (especially for the future of gaming) as opposed to polygons, such as Sparse Voxel Octrees.
Very cool game. How did you design it (and in what language or/what program)?
@TAz69x isn't this polygonal, but with low-res-looking textures? Seems to me you'd need to have a TON of resolution for the round edges and rotating shapes to resolve this nicely with voxels. I guess an octree could resolve the curves, but to get the rotating stuff, you'd have to be constantly rebuilding the octree. Same deal with dynamic tetrahedral voxels...
As in the tags, it sounds like dockaych used Unity3D to make this.
Nevermind, I figured it out. I feel like I might have missed something though, considering I had 2 extra items and could see more stuff to do in the distance. Is there a second ending or something or did you just run out of time?
That is not voxel, it is a simple collection of title mesh with bulky texture.

Yeah but obviously you didnt make the whole thing in 48 hours - the models? Physics engine? Level builder? Graphics editor?
What exactly did you do in the 48 hours, and waht did you have to begin with?
Looks great!

Somewhat fun, but I'm completely stuck. I was hoping to find a playthrough but this seems to be the only video of this game.
