COULD it be that the master tapes of this production were speeded up a little bit in order to enhance sound compression and coloratura accurancy (= transparence in higher speed)? I just wonder because of the unusual key of C sharp / D flat respectively and the mezzo-soprano-like tessitura in this recording. If not: Her command and soundful clearness would be really amazing. Well, even if not speeded up - she truly was an amazing, highly talented singer.
