@AllOuttabubbleGum It's from the Death Star Technical Companion, a Star Wars Roleplaying Game sourcebook that provided schematics, illustrations, and background information on the Death Star. It was written by Bill Slavicsek and published by West End Games in December of 1991.

@AllOuttabubbleGum I would, it's as close to the actual specs as we'll probably ever get. It also makes sense; the Death Star was only just fully operational, and had been kept top secret. The total number of crew onboard was probably nothing near its maximum capacity.

According to the website each TIE fighter (the starships with solar panels attached to their sides, for some reasons unknown coz the battle takes place in outer space with no sunlight) holds abt. 6 people, including technicians, pilots, etc. from wat I remember...
