There's no male celebrity in this era that can ever compare or even come close to Al Pacino's hotness and handsome face in 1970s. No one. Not even Brad Pitt. Not even Johnny Depp.
wtf are you sure this is a trailer they practically showed the whole movie LMFAO!!!! sonny goes to jail and the cops kills his gay lover the end not one of pacinos finest work i liked the godfather trilogy scarface and carlitos way this pacino movie tho bored me but thats just my opinion
I was looking up Al Pacino movies, so I decided to check out this and I was like "okay, Al Pacino, okay." and then I was like "WOAH FREDO, WAT DA EFF"
@monkfistlust havent seen Serpico but just watched the trailer right now. he looks ok but in this film he is just gorgeous. i think its the long hair, makes him look so young and pretty. and the beautiful accent he has here.
awww man, cant tear my eyes of him. why wasnt i born in his era, i would have happily flown to america just to be his whore for the night. ok just gave too much away there. meh i dont care!
@monkfistlust honestly nowadays he looks good but imo looks like a completely different person. dont wanna say hes aged badly cos of course no one stays young and beautiful forever but his face just seems to have changed, maybe its just me. hes still a hot old man but the he was at his most hot during this film. ohhh so hot!
When I watch movies like these, I start thinking about how POOR my generation really is without directors like Lumet. Hopefully Mr Lumet's death was enough for some kids to google his name, and discover his works. I had the fortune to find out about him a couple of years ago and his work has really struck a chord. The realism in his movies is a punch in the face to all those art-house dogs out there. This is the real mccoy. No airbrushing, no schmancy visuals. Just raw beauty in unlikely places.
RIP Sidney Lumet. You've certainly earned your rest. This movie is brilliant in every way. The chemistry between Pacino and Cazale is beyond comparison.
my buddy directed me to this to show me what DDA was about, and this is the absolute worst trailer I have ever seen. Today peple make shitty movies seem good with trailers, this made a good movie seem shitty. D- for the trailer.

Best Male Acting Performances of the 1970's: 1. Marlon Brando, The Godfather (1972) 2. Robert De Niro, Taxi Driver (1976) 3. Jack Nicholson, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) 4. Robert De Niro, The Godfather, Part II (1974) 5. George C. Scott, Patton (1970) 6. Peter Finch, Network (1976) 7. Christopher Walken, The Deer Hunter (1978) 8. Malcolm McDowell, A Clockwork Orange (1971) 9. Robert De Niro, The Deer Hunter (1978) 10. Al Pacino, Dog Day Afternoon (1975)

don't watch this trailer, unless you want spoilers like : OMFG SAL GETS SHOT BY A UNDERCOVER COP RIGHT BEFORE BOARDING THE PLANE AND SONNY GETS ARRESTED
"Why didn't he TELL ME he needed MONEY?" Haa his mom is great!
I love that the part about Sal wanting to go to Wyoming (a "foreign country") was a total ad-lib... Al wasn't expecting him to say that but it's so great how he just went with it, and they kept it in the movie (according to director's commentary on the dvd)
This is almost DDA in 3 minutes, they just left out the ending. Seriously don't watch this trailer before you see the movie, I'm glad I read Crypt375's comment. Your the man:D
