  • Its Len and Rin Kagamine not Ren and Rin Kagamine . Do your research GIRL .

  • Roar!!!!!!!!!!! Why write her name in English when the proper 1 is Hatsune Miku!~

  • We need a Vocaloid concert in Latin America I swear!! I wanna hear Bruno and Clara

  • Comment removed

  • I Accidentally pressed the Jap lang and know I dunno how to turn it back Into English xD I can't read it :c Hewlp Please?

  • It had never crossed my mind there were english vocaloids... Such a simple word hides many mysteries.

  • anns pic scares me XD

  • who are all the vocaloids ever created?

  • I know who she is I jest wanted to know what other people though of miku hatsune the singer or miku voice is Saki Fujita and theres other vocaloids Neru akita,Haku Yowane,Gumi masis,Gakupo Kamui,Meiko,Kaito,Rin Kagamine and Len Kagamine,Luka Megurine and for some you guys don't know Piko Utatane and theres fan made vocaloid there like over 20 of them or more fan made ones who knows

  • DONT BE HATIN ON US AKuhimitsu Ive never heard any of the english ones.. -_- not my fault they're just under the radar of most people. and hey. WERE IS LUKA?

  • immensley dissapointed i was expecting a eurythmics cover :(

  • I hate it when people talk bad about the English Vocaloids, the first Vocaloids were English, so really the Japanese ones were based off them.

Even though my favorites are Japanese.

  • the japanese versions of vocaloid 2 some have english of those people

  • MIRIAM is the BEsT English Vocaloid!!

  • Sweet Ann has a satanic box art ._.

  • Also, the release date for Sweet Ann is wrong, she came out in June, making her the first Vocaloid 2 and Miku the 2nd.

  • WTF??? REn?? Nononononononono LEN!!!!

  • @Niniiz97 Ren and Len are the same thing. No L in japanese, so it's Ren since hes japanese.

  • You know you missed A LOT of other Vocaloids. Another thing you could have mentioned in this is the fan made developement of UTAU and the new Append Vocaloids. Let's see the Vocaloids you missed big time were:

    Megurine Luka

    Gumi Megpoid

    Kamui Gakupo

    SF-A2 code Miki

    Utatane Piko

  • @pokenekogirl All that happened after this video was made. That male voice that was unknown may be Gakupo or Piko, i'm not sure.

  • @HotaruWaffle101 It's an english voice, it was Big Al.

  • @pokenekogirl Upload date, upload date, upload date.

  • @pokenekogirl I wondered the same thing but after I looked at when this video was made, it was made about 2 years. I don't know their release date but I think they were released after this video was made so they weren't mentioned

  • why.... are the english vocaloids so..... ugly..

  • @AznLoserWin Miku wasn't around when Sweet Ann was made, so they weren't really caring about how the boxart looked.

  • The english vocaloids need to be refined a bit more imo. Sweet ann is cool though.

  • The 26 people who disliked this where kicked in the face by Meiko and missed the like button!

  • How dare you forget Gakupo, Luka(the ONLY Bilingual Vocaloids. >.<), Miki, Gumi, Sonika, Yuki, Lily, and all of the others!

  • @MIntrawrz Look at the video's upload date

  • BEAUTIFUL

  • Japanese/Female voice (Crypton)

    2007/12/27 RIN&REN KAGAMINE

    wait..female? i thought Len was a boy...

  • @AnimeWonders98 I THING IT'S MEAN THE VOICE ACTOR,THE VOICE ACTOR OF RIN LEN IS A SAME GIRL.SO IS ARE VOICE ACTRESS-,-

  • @AnimeWonders98: Len and Rin's voicebank was in fact produced by the same female singer.

  • Really, i don't think Sweet Ann's not sweet!

'sweet' in one's perception is not the same, some would say she's cute, just like some who would say flowers are cute 0.0

and if Sweet Ann uses anime pics,

wouldn't that'll be entirely japan release?

(except for the voice bank and staffs)

They're vocaloid too, they're created by the same program..

That's what i think. no offense, by the way..

  • @HazukiTenshi: Sorry, I was probably busy when I typed that so that's why it's misspelled.

  • I thought they were Rin and Len? Anyways, great video :D and i agree with dragonmewgirll

  • the english ones look boring!

  • It's Rin and Len. Not Rin and Ren.

  • @MagicArrow365

    ren=len

ren is japanese name of len...

  • Sweet Ann looks UGLY WTF that hurt me.

  • I can tell you one thing. Sweet and is definetly NOT sweet.

  • @AllyAlly1620 Sweet ANN, you mean.

  • WHOA, she released at our national Day, Yayy Miku!

  • Err. you spelt Previous wrong, but this is nice to know that I can show this to my friends when they don't know what I'm talking about :)

  • where can i buy this please some one tell me im desprate

  • @Bonesfan799 Try the Japanese version of amazon for Miku and the like, and search for Vocaloid on google and click the third page from the bottom and click the download tab on there. I hope that helped. :)

  • English Vocaloids are awesome! I love Sweet Ann, Prima, and Tonio. :)

People who are trolling the English Vocaloids aren't real Vocaloid fans and they're weeaboos. >:D English Vocaloids sometimes sound bad because people don't know how to use them. :/ I miss when Vocaloid was about the songs and not about the "KAWAII DESU!!!!!!!!!!!" characters. I guess the Wapanese won't like something if its not Japanese.

  • i thought sweet ann was the first second vocaloid

  • @narkunohannayumi You are correct. The date given is the Japanese release date but she was first released June 29, 2007, just before Miku

  • she spelled len as ren anybody else notice that?and i thought rin and len were just mirror images of each other

  • Ughh you kinda made me more confused. I only thought there was Miku Len and Rin and Meiko

  • wooooo vocaloids!:) they rock my favorites are MEIKO, Kasane Teto(well shes an utauloid but i still count her as a vocaloid), Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Megurine Luka, and GUMI(i think thats her name at least lol)

  • @VampireKnightVamp7 yeah they r like $170 dollars though:/ you can get them online

  • well, that's not the song in the info, please update and give us the name of the current song :L

  • (You spelled "PREVIOUS" wrong in your video) Leon, Lola, Miriam, Meiko, and Kaito are NOT previous Vocaloid2 products...they are previous but are from Vocaloid (to be more specific, Vocaloid1). All these are Vocaloids but are apart of different Vocaloid engines depending on the Vocaloid's release date and what engine they use to create the Vocaloid making the mascot aprt of V1 or V2...V3 is in the process of development, so there will be future V3s xDD

  • ilove len OwO

  • >_> WHY THE HELL DO YOU PEOPLE HATE ON THE ENGLOIDS?!?!?!?!Dx

I MEAN ISNT FANART OF THEM ENOUGH???D=<

Ok ill say this nicely ^^

    Dont hate on lola,leon,miriam,prima=/ i

A "TRUE" vocaloid fan loves all of the vocaloids, the reason they dont sound beautiful alot of the time is because people are not good at using them ^^ so please be respectful, better yet,the engloids are AMAZING =) I have the leon,Lola and prima versions now ^^ lol i also have kaito

but still, just shaddup and dont insult em

  • why is miku the most popular when meiko and kaito were obviously first? :/

  • @kimblahkim

Miku got attention by her rendition of "Levan Polka" going viral. It not only put Vocaloid on the map, but gave Miku the first Vocaloid Character item. See: leekspin.

  • @kimblahkim Ahem. Lola and Leon were the first. Meiko and Kaito came shortly after them.

  • @kimblahkim well they sound more robotic and miku's voice is just more appealing to others. i personally hate kaito, and love meiko and miku and everyone else but kaito and gakupo:)

  • Vocaloids ARE AWESOME!!!! Miku= <3

  • by the way... It's Rin and Len... not Rin and Ren... Ren is the dark version of Len.

  • Maby you can explain one thing to me.

How to make miku sing in english? like happy birthday to you, instead of using the ha pe bu te to yo or some non-sense japanese like that

  • There's more! Megurine Luka, Yuki Kaai, SF-A2 Miki, Kamui Gakupo,Gumi Megpoid,Sonika,Kiyoteru Hiyama,Big Al,Miku Hatsune APPEND!,Tonio,Neru Akita (Not so official,Yowane Haku (not so official) and the newest relased some time ago.. Llly!

  • @XDManuh Look when this video came out. >.>

  • Rin&Len are released on my b.day o.o cooool *_* hm, now i know why i love them so much xD

  • engloids are awesome..some people just stop at one or a couple songs that's probably pitched too high, or so, probably created by someone still learning with vocaloid. and then "wow, englois suck, they don't have anime looks and they're voices suck too." like, i love the fact that some of their looks aren't official. if you look deep enough, you can see how well engloids really sound.

  • It's RIN and LEN Kagamine! RIN AND LEN!!!! (Not Rin and Ren.)

  • @sammjake it is ren it's just pronounced as len.

(there is no "L" in the japanese language)

  • now there's Luka,Gakupo,Gumi, and Sonika out on the market, just to tell you.

  • @hidarichan81 You have to understand that they made this back in April 2008 and hasn't updated it since then. Luka and Gakupo, Gumi and Sonika weren't out then.

  • I'd much rather go and learn japanese to use the cute vocaloids then get stuck with the creepy english ones from hell... :D

  • Vocaloids have a much larger fan base because of their art style and how easy it is to represent them. People can change Miku's style as much as they like in their videos (just check out hagane miku). I can see why the english version isn't popular (aside from the fact that primarily otaku's use the program).

  • Ohaio, there's a mistake. Sweet Ann was before Miku and the twins. But other than that you have a pretty accurate video here.

  • on mmd the file names for kagamine twin ren is calleed len kagamine so wich one is it cuz ive seen the various naming of him for a little while :/ XD

  • @TheDestinyStarsPro Len. The popular theory is that they're meant to be mirror reflections of one another ("L"en is the left, and "R"in is the right). x]

  • @TheDestinyStarsPro it's Len Kagamine :)

  • I will just stick 2 Japaneese vocaloids for now....

  • Ann & Prima? WTF! KAGAMINE TWINS FOR THE WORLD!!!

  • ^.^ Neat! I hope I can get one some day. :3 It sounds fun!

  • i always thoughd vocaloid was a anime show. oh well. its still cool anyway. go vocaloid. go miku hatsune

  • hahaaha all this time i thought it was an anime and ive been searching 4 it lol

  • Ann looks like a country singer..sort of..maybe it's the curly hair and the big smile. =3

  • i like the japanese vocaloids WAY better than the english vocaloids

  • @dragonmewgirll i agree

  • Kaito..was released on my b-day D:

  • @bunnylovescookies im so sorry.................haha lol

  • No vocaloid can ever replace Rin and Len or any other Japanese vocaloid, english over japanese = PUKE. EW.

  • Haha, nice.

    =3

  • no es ren

    es len

  • a synthetical voice program?

  • @UberGamer1030 ya ppl use this software to sing their song...but the voice actually from a real girl i cant recall the name though...i failed using this software XD

  • @morone91 so.. people can make songs using miku hatsune's voice?

  • @UberGamer1030 ya kinda...u make your own music arrangement and u put in the lyrics and set miku to sing it..something like that

  • uhm when miku came out as a vocaloid i thought shed be pretty horrible to listen but when it was said the next few months that she is now a loved vocaloid character soooo i checked out her songs put my head phones on and slowed the vol down just incase if it sounded kinda bad. the first miku song ive ever heard was packaged so u know that was the song i was hearing currently back then when i waited for the song to start im like whoa the song is awesome then i felt so happy and now it nvr stopped

  • ren?

  • aw.... i thought that this was the page for miku singing "whos that girl" by hilary duff... and I got excited :<...

  • Luka?

  • @Tysilee Luka and Gakupo were released after all these vocaloids

  • why does sweet anne look like THAT why ant she just have a simple anime picture like the others not something that will give you nightmares!

  • @xcookiemonstaaax look theres a saying when you have nothing nice to say then don't fucking say it!! ...those may not be the right words ..but still!! i happen to love sweet anns box art

  • i wish they had like miku and rin and len for the english version :(

  • @Cinnamoroll2313 also dude we sould nvr know if they sounded any bad or something just sayin we wont know but we have to w8 till something happens and see if its any good or not

  • what song is this?

  • she was released on my bday ^^

  • what happen to Miki SF-A2

  • Gackpo is the newest Vocaloid i know of and it came out some time in 2008. They used the voice of Gackt for the new vocaloid, it is a japanese males voice. Just wanted to let you know, your vid was awesome, i liked the bgm music choice. do you know the name of the song or where i can find the mp3?

  • Down with the English VOCALOIDS, up with Miku! ^_^

  • Yeah, yeah, english ones are scary... ._.

and uhm, i guess Kagamine Rin and Ren aren't twins

    They are... mirror reflections?

cause Kagami [鏡] means mirror (and ne [音] - sound) ^^"

  • I would love it if you could send me a copy of the song you used. Please and thank you. : D

  • :D "My name is LOoOlaaaa~~" Best tutorial EVAR

  • The english vocaloids don't have the same appeal as they're often given a live human face, rather than a drawn one. The anime ones feel more that they ARE computerised singers entirely, not just the voice.

  • My God... WTF is this english versio of Vocaloid? G_G

It's bizarre. The face of this Ann scares me. Now I understand why never see nothing of the Ocidental Vocaloids in the net =P

  • I kinda laughed at the "I guess the target of product is different in English release" comment... Anne has a pretty good voice in my opinion, but yes, the actual picture used wasn't too flattering!

I always considered Anne to be a wartime singer, and Prima to be an opera diva, In these roles, BOTH pics, do kind of suit the pictures.

  • t is rin and len

  • The english male that came out is Big Al and what happened to Luka?!

  • @AngelsDelight2612 I don't think Luka was created yet when the person made this. I could be wrong.

  • yay miku! but how come Luka wasnt in there? ;_;. YAY KAITO-SAMA!!! i wuv him ^///^!! But his picture could be updated a bit. There are a lot of good pics of him out there, so i dont see why they cant make a new box cover...

  • @Ehmiy321 I think this was before Luka was released. A lot of Vocaloids that are well known now are just absent in this video, because they weren't made yet, Luka included.

And I think Crypton just doesn't care about their old Vocaloids enough to make a new box cover anymore. But Kaito's box cover *is* pretty badly done.

  • in japan they dont use an "L" sound they only have ''r" sounds so its ren! i go either len or ren tho cuz both of them r his name

  • @468255 they do, its ment to be a play on twins.

    L and R,

    left and Right!

if they didn't have an L sound how do you explain Luka? is it ruka?

    no... didn't think so.

  • whats the song called in this =D

  • Don't be rude about the Ren part, cause if people would once in a life time read the description, they explain that they meant Len. :D There's a reason it's there, it's not just useless typing.

  • Comment removed

  • @mikumikugirl yeah i agree his name is len not ren

  • whoever says someone is ''stuid'' is also quite stuid :P

  • It IS Ren. That's how his name is pronounced in Japanese.

  • Well, people who speak english change that letter because it's easier to tell the difference, but in the Japanese language thier is no "L" sound. That sound is kind of mixed with the "R" sound, as in the word "samurai".

  • so?

maybe they read it like tht in so ones description

so it may be someone else's fault and not theres

and they were pretty close anyways so

  • Well, you do know that japanese people can't say "Len" because there's no "l" syllable in Japan... so they say it like "Ren"...

    Just sayin'...

  • oh u guys are assholes puting thumbs down on my comment just cuz im a len x rin shiper XD

fuk u all up the ass with a 5ft turtle shell and a side of french bagels stuffed with potato skins ;o

  • It really pisses me off on how all of these people saying that the English Vocaloids suck, only because they don't have the effing anime box art. It's freaking music, a singing computer! You should care more about how they sound, and how "ZOMG KAWAII DESU!!!!1111" The characters are.

  • @MiriamSaka17 anime box art pwns all.

  • @MiriamSaka17 i agree... but i don't like the english ones just because it sounds like they made it to sound too... opera house-ish. :/ but i haven't listened to much of the songs, so idk.

  • @MiriamSaka17 Oops, I meant to say "and NOT how "ZOMG KAWAII DESU!!!!1111" The characters are."

  • @MiriamSaka17 LOL you win. I don't like English Vocaloids because English dub is just... no.

  • @MiriamSaka17 I hate them because their voices suck LOL.

They should have stuck to making bilingual Vocaloids, because the current English ones just don't sound right. orz

  • @MiriamSaka17 I think their voices suck, more than the box art. Sonika is the only passable one, but I haven't seen her used in any particularly good songs.

  • @MiriamSaka17

    Big Al sounds cute to me D;

  • @MiriamSaka17

I totally agree, I actually can't stand the English Vocaloids, I hate all of their voices, in fact, I didn't want to ruin what might have been a good impression on them, so I listened first, looked later.

That, and I like the rythym of Japanese/Vocaloid songs much better than just about any English song.

  • @MiriamSaka17 that's why fans who want to keep Japanese culture (like me) make anime versions of them. I like Vocaloid, but i like english ones too, just not as much.

  • Don't forget German Vocaloid

    His name is AGK

  • don't call rin and len "other vocaloid2"

  • screw the American Vocaloids!!!

  • Silly human! You do know the English VOCALOIDs were first don't you? Of course you don't, because you're an idiot!

  • Who said? I didn't. I only said that The Japanese Vocaloids were better. Who's the idiot now....Human?

  • Well the Japanese VOCALOIDs may be cutsier... but without the English one there would be no Japanese ones~ Miku would sease to exist...

  • i searched on google, and found out more of their personalities(in general). Rin=Mischievous, always in trouble, adventurous.

Len= your average "cute guy". girls show alot of moe towards him,he is the exact opposite of Rin.

    Kaito=Nice guy who loves Icecream

Meiko= quite hot headed, and loves to beat up Kaito, loves Sake, and is often drunk

Miku: the most popular out of all Vocaloids, very cute and kind, but has a ,"beserks button",if you touch her in a "specific place"(skirt area),she will go mad.

  • i like the music. it fits very well to give you the feel that its a japanese documentary.

  • the male you said was coming in 2008....that's the white haired guy, right? I forget what his name is :(

  • u mispelled previous <u<

    lol

i just wanted to point that out XD

  • its rin and Len kagamine...they are mirrors

  • Dude, Rin and Len aren't twins, they're mirror images. Their names are the first syllable of the japanese word Left and Right.

  • migi and hidori???

  • Nuh, it's meant to be a pun, so the Japs used the first syllable of Left and Right if I'm not mistaken o.o

And if my Japanese is good (which it isn't T_T) then it should be Rin and Len. Rin's kinda cute though o_o

  • Rin and Len arent twins. They are mirror images

  • Rin and Len is a pun for left and right

Kagamine = Mirror (Kagami) Sound (Ne)

Hatsune = First (Hatsu) Sound (Ne)

  • its rin and len -.-

  • in japan the ''l'' , no exist xD

  • wait... i thought miku is vocaloid instead of vocaloid2

  • uh which is english len ann or prima? ._. they seem like girl names to me..

  • Sweet Ann is english, im not sure about Prima, she might be english too

  • she is

  • ahhk thanks : )

  • omg ann was disgusting. im sorry but eeew.

  • I agree. O__O

  • yeah her box art is very ugly. but she has a cute voice and if you look at some more of the user-generated stuff she can be pretty cute.

  • Cool...~ Nice vid~ Thanks ~

  • pachelbel's canon is everywhere

  • i think i puked when i saw ann

  • @countbleckdashit

Man, worse than the early megaman boxarts.

  • only the cool ones are released in Japan! It's not fair!

  • @AmIreallyThatStrange

LOL. You funny person. The engloids are pretty great.

  • Yeah, seriously. Leon and Lola's magnet is so unf
