i dont understand why everyone thinks his tuning is off. Its tuned down a half step as Bold As Love is supposed to be. Its called Hendrix tuning for those of you who don't understand. And I think that was one of the best versions of that song I've ever heard.

Not a bad cover, your guitar is horrifically out of tune, you're rushing, yet you have earphones in, how can you listen to the song yet play faster than what you're hearing? Details man, you have chops, now you gotta get the details. And put some feeling into it, this is one of those songs that you have to know so well that you don't have to think about playing, so you can feel it and enjoy playing it. Not trying to be a douche but you're too good to let little details make you sound bad.

Yea, really sketchy tuning and its rushed, but to each their own. people, this is not a song you can a) tab out in 5 minutes and b) learn from tabs. if tabs are the only way you can learn this than you are not ready to play this song. the changes are constant and there are tons of embellishments, so stop asking for tab. use your ears. even if you only come up with a streamlined version or a melody, it is way better than using tabs. tabs are dangerous because they suck away your creativity.

If you want sheet music for guitar, you're a fucking idiot. If you're playing Hendrix, use tab to give you the skeleton structure to the song and fill in the blanks with rakes and trills and that sort of thing to give it your own. Trust me mate, guitar pro is the best 50 dollar investment I have ever made.

And they expect that we know a thing or 2 about sheet music. Secondary: if you wanna play with other musicians its quite important that u know sheet music.

Personally I think if you want to be any serious sort of songwriter in this day and age, you need to know how to read sheet music, know your chords, scales and the modes of the scale. If you simply want to learn to play the songs of others, then tabs are THE ONLY way you should do it. If you feel you are "too good," for tabs, then learn by ear. Not easy, but it does give you a nice feeling inside and can lead to better playing. Unfortunately it can equate to many years of pain.
