hahah~ i was 4-5(I'm not really sure) when i first watch this... it's on animax when that time and it's saiyuki reload/gunlock... and even though the language is in japanese (which i clearly don't understand) i kept on watching it even thought i'm 4 or 5 that time... and why? because goku was in there... i guess hes my first anime crush... >///< and now i'm fifteen i keep on watching this...

It's a shame the original voice actors didn't carry over into the subsequent seasons. It just wasn't the same.

@kevinphoenix2007 its because of the change in licensing. that's why the VA's in Reload & Reload Gunlock are different from the original Gensomaden Saiyuki.

i watched this because Sanzo is cool, Gojyo is THE MAN, hakkai is slurpy & goku is adorable.

i was 15-16 that time & gensomaden saiyuki influenced how i viewed life from then on. now i'm a cynical man like sanzo, while still an ero kappa like Gojyo and calm like Hakkai unless provoked.

it's actually funny, this anime is oftentimes reffered to as a yaoi, but it's far from it:

Gojyo-womanizer or at least sleeps around a lot,

Hakkai-I beleive Kanan was her name, but he had a relationship with her

Goku-is known to have puppy crushes on various girls

Sanzo-is a hardcase most of the time, but he has opened up to women in a way that he never has with the others granted this isn't proof that he's straight, but you can't prove contrary either. but that's just me.

Gensomaden Saiyuki is better than Reload and Gunlock and the song is better too the story is better the demons die like demons not like Reload and Gunlock...like they juz die without disintegrating.The Final Battle rocks in G.Saiyuki ^^

i think people who liked this anime already knew this.... the only advantage of sanzo is that he can make a new crown thingi to stop goku everytime he goes berserk.... overall, i love everything about this anime.... its just all so good..... thanks for uploading the song^_^....
