  • Joe Biden claimed that the $862 Billion failed stimulus ($400 remains unspent) “created or saved” 750,000 jobs. Economists don’t recognize jobs saved, and the jobs saved may have been keep local agencies afloat. When the money ran out, the people lost their jobs. Currently States are considering filing bankruptcy for spending. watch?v=IqmeT5ykKf0

The Govt owns 61% of GM, GOOGLE, “GM's electric-car fantasy running out of gas” and read links. The Green Movement should be free market driven

  • beau made a moving speech this is real America. moving AND REAL

  • did anyone notice that Sarah Palins speech at the rnc was basically just about attacking democrates.

  • I'm glad someone could figure out what Sarah Palin's speech was about. I guess that's why they call her Governor Moron.

  • I know this is inappropriate but Beau Biden is so handsome. :)And I'm happy that Senator Joe Biden will be our next V.P.

  • We made it. And yes he is an attractive young man.... like his dad1

  • what a man!

so dedicated to his family...JOE THE SENATOR FOR VP YAEEEYAEEE!

  • Beau's speech was wonderful...I cried...take care out there in Iraq, Captain Beau Biden.

  • I cried too. Every time i watched this video Democrats RULE!!!The entire conventon was so moving.

God bless President Obama and Vice President Biden!!!

  • The DNC was so positive and uplifting. Then you watch the RNC and its all about smears, insults and NOTHING about the issues.

  • @thefloacist Isn't that how it always is?!? :)

  • Biden is overqualified for the job description and I'm just grateful he's applying. Make him veep and he'll speak his mind to anyone including his boss. Ain't going to be no White House bubble with this guy around.

  • Joe Biden is so the next vice-president.

  • What great humility by Beau Biden. He could have bragged about serving in the military, and getting ready to serve in Iraq next month, but he's not like that. Notice how Biden does not make his son being deployed to Iraq into a political issue? Palin on the other hand, she brings up her son's deployment to Iraq every chance she gets. She knows very little about foreign policy, and that is reason for concern. I can't wait for the VP debate!

  • Yahshua4eva,

Joke is what we have right now in the white house: a president that many times liked to point out that he was a "C" student... why is it that we are still thinking who is better?... McCain is a great heroe but he knows nothing about the issues, gets everything wrong and then run behind POW... It is not his fault, it just his IQ doesn't allow him (895 out of 899 in the navy)... Be proud of having highly intelligent and a team with a great vision for america OBAMA/BIDEN !!!

  • So Obama and Biden can work together to take down McCain and Palin easily. So we can throw away the legacy of George W. Bush like a piece of trash.

    Obama/Biden '08

  • This really got me tearing up.

Biden was my #1 pick for VP, and I'm so glad it's come true. This sure is a dream ticket for me.

  • Good for you and don't worry about Sarah Palin. She's just another Dan Quayle. And Joe Biden is gonna crush her at the vice-presidential debate Just like how Lloyd Bentsen crushed Dan Quayle at the 1988 vice-presidential debate with his famous line "I served with Jack Kennedy. I knew Jack Kennedy. Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine. Senator your no Jack Kennedy." Even though Bush and Quayle won. But thats only because Michael Dukakis was just an ok candidate. Obama is no Dukakis.

  • so true. he's gonna crush her in the vp debates. same with obama/mccain. have you seen mccain speak? he's not gonna be able to pull it off. he can't think of answers on his feet fast enough.

  • Just wanted to say thank you for posting this. My DVR for some reason was rebooting and I missed both Bidens. Heck, it even rebooted when I noticed Barack came out when it got back from the reboot.

  • Joe Biden is the best "We, the People" could ever ask for. POTUS and VPOTUS are just titles. Obama/Biden '08 will be a team effort. America will finally get to know Joe Biden. Everyone should do themselves a favor and take time to find out about who the real Joe is. Even the pundits like him, finally!

  • It is IMPERATIVE that Obama & Biden watch their backs as hellary's backshots just might turn into REAL GUNS.

I'm not into conspiracies however, I absolutely do NOT trust her.

    BTW-I'm a Nam veteran.

  • I was hoping Biden was selected to be the presidential nominee. Oh well, at least Obama made an intelligent choice for VP which bodes well for his decision making.

  • A generation ago, a man could make a living wage without a college education, enough for the wife not to work. THat would happen today with only a very few. THat is why we have to change our education system. That is why we need a higher minimum wage. There are more people in the highest income bracket than ever, but life is harder for the rest of us, even with both parents working. That is why we neede Obama/Joe Biden

  • OBAMA & BIDEN--Truly THIS is the ticket 2008!

  • The least we can do is look after Beau's dad like he asked us to since he's going to Iraq to fight for our country. Let's help get his father & Obama into the White House so they can bring Beau home safely quicker. Say yes to Obama & NO to McBush. Our country, our way of life can't afford another 4 yrs of this pillaging by the top 1% that think they are the only ones entitled to the American dream. We are too & we need to take our country back! We owe it to Captain Beau Biden - & ourselves.

  • I really hope the Republicans don't try and touch this part of the convention because it will prove they have no class. Alot of the Republicans try to label certain things as contrived... no way was this contrived. This was heartfelt... from a son to a father. Watching Michelle and seeing the tears she shed had a similar effect on me. These are truly good people and the kind of people I want running our country.

    Obama-Biden 08'

  • I was fortunate enough to meet Joe Biden in Iowa City last summer. He took questions from a crowd of around 40 people for 2 hours after his speech. I've never seen anything like it.

This is truly a dream ticket.

    Obama-Biden '08!

  • I have always liked Joe Bidden.

Thought he was great during the debates, and am very pleased he will soon restore integrity and virtue to an Office that has been dishonored by the unscrupulous Dick Cheney. Working men and women will once again have working for us a champion much like Hubert Humphrey. Fortunately, Joe will enjoy his Vice Presidency working openly on our behalf and not for Special Interests behind closed doors.

Great Speech Tonight, Joe, You're a Good Guy.

    MANY THANKS.

  • I hope Beau comes home from Iraq ok.

  • I'm pretty sure the music is from mark isham, it sounds very familiar to his work from the life as a house soundtrack.

  • yes, i just searched and it's called "building a family" by mark isham. Thanks for your help!

  • wow, great speech!

  • First 10 seconds: I thought Bruce Wayne's dad said that.

  • Does anyone know the name of the first musical piece played at the beginning of this biography?

  • what is the music song for the first part?

  • I believe it's Philip Glass. Don't know the name of the piece, though.

  • We love you Joe Biden!
