sure, De Palma made Wise Guys and Mission To Mars, but he's still one of the most underrated and under-appreciated directors. He's so clever, and his use of the camera is phenomenal. Watching Blow Out last night reminded me of his talent.

He's made some great movies (scarface)and some really bad ones (mission to mars). He stole his style from Hitchcock, but at least he makes an effort to make good films. I lump in at the bottom of the brat pack directors like Spielberg, Lucas, Coppola, Kubrick, Freidkin, Carpenter, etc..
