Great collection of well-taken photographs of birds...looked in my books on your water fowl, but could not find. Unique looking beak with ring at tip, and the red eye together. Will check out the internet. As for my tune, it is a work in progress, and will add to a video once it sounds right.
@TawnyPixieWillow :) Oh that wonderful that you have a connection with Birds! I can remember being a little girl ,,, my Mom gave me stale bread and I would break it up all over my yard and I would sit by the Trees and watch the birds! HUGS!
Oh, this is so uplifting! Those birds are God's masterpieces each one of them. And the background music is overwhelming! I can feel it deep in my spirit and my heart. Thank you so much, Brenda. I really needed this before going to sleep. God bless you!
@zahnyx Thank you Hun!! You are so very sweet!! I get so much joy watching my Feathered Friends!! Putting this video together brought back so many fond memories!! HUGS!!
That was easily one of the best bird videos I've ever seen. Who had the oriole & the goldfinch landing on them like that?! I put this in the favoritte list. Oh, that unidentified duck...try looking up American black duck. It could be that one. It's also a year round resident of this area. What a job you did on this video, though. A+
@mastermind Thank you!! I was holding the birds and took the pictures! It was a wonderful feeling! A few people ID the bird as An American Coot!! I appreciate the wonderful compliment! Hope your doing well!! :)
@DAWL01 I know what ya mean..I will miss these birds all winter,, but we do have lots to keep me entertained as well. Thank you for IDing the bird!! Hugs!
Beautiful photos of birds, Dear Brenda! I love the happy end stories about the Baltimore Oriole and Goldfinch, that they have been able to recover after slamming into the door. BTW, these photos are the most impressive, because they sit on your palm and are so close...Love all these birds, including the Hawk. :) Thank you for this lovely video, my Dear Brenda. It's time close to Christmas and I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Love and Hugs, my35Xvision.
@my35Xvision Thank you my dear friend!! I was so happy that both birds survived. It was such a wonderful feeling to see them both fly off!! It brought back fond memories going thru my pictures!! Much love and lots of hugs!! Brenda
@ladylilithmoon I will missed the Oriols all winter, they are such beauties,, the Goldfinch stays all winter but truns a very dull olive green. I sure do love my feathered friends!! HUGS!
So beautiful! How do you get them to come to you and sit on your hand? I've never seen anyone do that with wild birds. And do all birds like grapefruit? That surprised me LOL ~Anni~
@MIRTHandREVERENCE Thank you for watching,, they had flown into my Sliding glass door,, I ran out to help them.. I was surprised they stayed on my finger for so long,, it was a great feeling to hold such little birds! HUGS!
Great photos, Brenda! Yes, I do believe that the duck you couldn't identify, is an American Coot. I also wondered how the heck you got the oriole and goldfinch to stay on your hand?! You're a lucky lady, to live in the paradise that you've created! :-)
@Muffissness Thank you so much for IDing the bird for me!! Both the birds had flown into my sliding glass door and I ran out to help them. I was surprised they stayed on my finger so long. Blessings and Hugs!
love this, I am a birder to and enjoyed seeing all your feathered friends, and a bit envious of the ones perched on your hand...........thank you for this..........blessed be
You've got some nice birds, Fairy Brenda. I'm down to a few blue jays and a hummingbird, and I'm waiting for the arrival of the Canada Geese. No snow yet. Happy holidays from Cat Ivan to you and your bird watchers Faylinn & Elfy;-)
