Skipping Kollam - 2431 Trivandrum Rajdhani (Dec. 18, 2008)

TVC Rajdhani is one of th best trains in Indian Railways in terms of speed and halts, but still i some how think that, it needs a revamp and it is hightime, NR should replace the old 70's ICF coaches with LHB. Sadly this train is mixture of Junk assembled last minute to make a full rake

i hope u people know abt d coaches of mumbai-delhi rajdhani....they are just aweome!!!and our rajdhani is still running with those old coaches!!!

Not to mention the irritating ads on the windows - can't see a thing outside!

It happens very rarely that Rajdhani or Shatabdi Express will take the loop line in some station. Somebody from Indian railways told me that whenever Rajdhani or Shatabdi Express runs, the next two signals should be green unless some official stoppage is there.

Again, this I am not telling...a person told me.

I think that it got diverted because some other train was standing at the main line...Not v sure :-)

You are correct.. It got swtiched to a loop line because another train was blocking the main line.

Actually, it was a mixture of rakes - Airtel, New York Life, etc.
