i think the problem here is artem massively outshone holly. even though that is expected i noticed how much better he was in this dance especially!

Of all the dances performed this year on Strictly, this is the best from my point of view. Artem's interpretation of the music is excellent. I keep watching it over and over and it never loses its magic. It suits Holly too.

What I love about this is that, as well as having all the basic Charleston steps, this dances does for a 21st Century what it did back in the 30s with original swing music- it makes people want to get up and dance- that being said makes it a fantastic contemporary Charleston. Even Mr Goodman can't argue with that

I think what hindered her performance for the Charleston was just the mental exhaustion she was talking about in the package and ITT. The poor girl. Had she danced it a little earlier in the series, it might have been better, it might not have been. Who knows? I really wish she had made it to the finals, but well done to everyone that did.

Artem's so light on his feet, almost looks like he's about to take off, amazing routine, must've watched this about 100 times now, strange how there's 2 person dancing, but one is automatically drawn to Artem....besides his good looks of course @_@

Artem is so versatile and brilliant in all he does. I love his rubber-limbed incarnation here - vibrant and funny. Pity his partner is so hefty-looking and matronly - Kara's lightness, precision and delicacy much missed. Three cheers for superb music, and thanks for introducing it to us.

I really liked this, Artem does some wonderfully inventive choreography. Sadly they obviously hadn't had enough time to get it really slick and Holly looked a little deer-in-the-headlights at time.

artem you told zoe that it was very difficult dance for holly to follow well in that case she should not accepted the competition if she thought it was easy.well in anything you do to be on the top you have to work very had holly was not working very hard at all.

Artem's great but Holly doesn't really throw herself into dances she doesn't like which is a shame...i normally love artem's choreography but this didn't work for holly

If you watch just Artem, you can see how sharp and sliick the choreography is - I loved it!

this dance could have been one of the best of series if Holly had more time to learn it properly. Her understanding of the dance in most of it was exemplary, and its a difficult dance. If you look at the beginning on the mixing desk; some of her moves throughout; and the moment between Artem's knees at about 1.10, it was just brilliant - she really got it. Holly and Artem desire more credit for this, even if it wasn't good enough to get to the final. Holly, well done! Artem you are amazing!

I always find the Charlston is a very unflattering dance for any woman to do; and Holly was no exception here. She looked very ungainly during this routine despite being an attractive woman normally.

It all looked very awkward, indeed.

And if this had been a proper professional competition then even Artem wouldn't have scored a 10 with this dance as he screwed up at the end and also his pause at 0.27 was awful compared to Holly's pause.

Gotta say it, if Artem had danced this with Kara last year it would have been incredible! Artem by far is the best choreographer this show has seen in a long, long time. Holly was cool in this but she wasn't, i dont know..bouncy-cute enough for this dance? She needed more expression and character. Anyway, love you, Artem <3

Not Holly & Artem's best dance but if you think about it all the couples struggled with different dances on different weeks no one's perfect but at least she tryed.

but no action.holly said she worked very hard to be in blackpool, i think she will not make it.

because we have harry,chelsee and of course jason..artem you still a brilliant dancer but this year you lost that magic of last year.so sorry

Cracking dance routine, exciting and different... no disrespect to Holly who gave it a great shot... I'd like to see Artem dance this partnered with a professional dancer. It is this kind of thing that blows fresh air into the fusty corners of ballroom dancing. Craig was spot on with his assessment.

Artem's such a cutie, I love his face when his earphones aren't going on at the end :D im so glad his back is better - grumpy Russian artem is way better than away with the painkillers artem.

I really hope Holly doesn't leave - but I wished she put more passion into her dancing and stopped holding back. I love this dance - could be better if she could really and truly throw herself into it

The dance is amazing! If she'd have nailed it, it would've been brilliant, but she messed up a bit quite hesitant and she didn't really give it everything. But good dance :)

Artem really takes risks:Swan Lake for the American Smooth, Jessie J track for the Foxtrot and now this.He stretches Holly and I would like to see them both in the final. Alesha's right, this was out of her comfort zone, and watching it a second time now, I appreciated it more than watching it live first time.

@zaftra I think Holly always holds back. She had some fantastic body movement here. I dont think Artem showed up her faults, I think it is just a case that she didnt really GO FOR IT. Arms arent as high, bum not really over jiggily.. loved it though. Loved the choice of music and some of the steps
