We just need to strip off the overweight fuel canisters and replace them with some tidy poles and run electric trolleybuses in the heavy traffic areas.
I saw one of the retired articulated high floor new flyers San Diego MTS used to have on a bus yard near Murrieta while I was driving the other day on Interstate 215. Some of the NCTD Flexibles and RTS were there too.
These bus are using Cummins ISL CNG powered engine with Allison 5-speed transmission, but some drivers complain the they are too powerful to handle, as the engine provide 320 hp.
