Old performers are excellent, because they grew up and began performing in an era when they had to be good, because there was no autotune to perfect their mistakes. Most old performers also are not interested as much in the money as much as younger ones are. Old performers have made their mark, now it's a matter of maintaining it. Younger ones are more focussed on making money then giving a really diamite show.
