@shirleyinroseville check with the various rescue organizations. Search for poodle rescue on google and it should point you in the right direction...lots of sad dogs out there waiting for good homes...gain a friend and do a good deed.

I have read pride and prejudice, and naming a dog after a character in a Regency novel is simply pretentious in my eyes. what next? Beethoven the bulldog?!?!

Darcy is a great name for a poodle. It is better than those generic, oh-too-common ones like: Foofoo, Muffin, FeeFee, and Daphne.

Gosh Darcy is darling! Looks how Ruby used to play, by pouncing her head at things,lol.What a great yard/garden for such a beautiful spoo to play in!Love the undocked tail too. Their tails really show their moods etc, when the tails are left undocked. A lovely video! Slainte

Thank you, we think she is great. We have no choice with regard to tails in the UK now, docking has been banned except for a few working dogs.
