  • heey...you are my nick name on steam:D but this videos for me is the best (:

  • @jopo1234567812345678 Don't be stealing my genius, I created that nick 6 years ago for Halo 2 on XBL. Straight off the top!

  • the test is... will it look this good coming from the xbox arcade? and how many terabites it will take up

  • That last shot was fucking epic! BLAM right to the face.

  • How much fps:

    Intel i3-540 @3.06 g h z

    4GB Ram 1600 m h z

    VGA AMD Radeon HD5750 1GB

    PSU 600W

    ?!

  • slow it down to the point where you can see bullet moving

  • @AznDuD333 Can't, there are no "bullets" :\

  • @lowstrife

actually, there are, crytek programmed it so that there are actually bullets coming out of ur gun..infact they even programmed bullet drops after long distances. u can see a little bit of a white dot when u slow the game down, zoom in and shoot.

  • @AznDuD333 When I slowed down the game to 600fps, I saw nothing like this. I remember specifically looking for it. I believe I have a video showing this...

  • @lowstrife

use ur fy71 with sniper scope, spray into the distance and ull see the white dots.

  • How did you do this?

  • I can do 6-13FPS with shaders post processing motion blur and physics on very high oh and shadows too with MY ATI Radeon 3100 is that awesome or what?

  • @realflow100 WHAT

  • @TheMbahmuer im am NOT LYING not at all this is true my video card can do that lol its weird i have 700MB video ram though if that helps

  • luckely my eyes can't see more than 60 fps xd

  • Can i max this game fully out on enthusiast 1600x1200

    amd phenom quadcore 3,4 Ghz

    gtx 460 1gb overclocked edition

    8gb ddr3 2000Mhz

    windows 7 home premium

  • Man, you don't have a bad rig, it's actually quite good, but the pre rendering technique made this viideo awesome i must say, thumbs up

  • @shengxlong Two years old now; I future-proofed this thing excellently. Still runs new games very well. I'm not an enthusiast like I was, so I'm not spending money on this rig for two more years, unless something breaks. I do need more harddrive space though...

  • That last shot was sick lol

  • I love it when Games move at these frames, then it starts looking like a live action.

  • I want your computer! lol

  • ;-o

  • Is gtx 260 better than 4850 ?

  • @jansson94 yes

  • @jansson94 Yes. By quite a margin.

  • @jansson94 mmmh ye little better :)

  • I so want this game!!!!!

  • Twixtor/Pixel Motion?

  • @LimiTvBreaK Nope, no artificial methods to slow it down.

  • 20,000 views and counting.

Didn't expect it to be this big rofl.

  • @lowstrife the views HAVE to be bigger for this kind of video, it's so awsome man!!!

  • those are some beautiful graphics lol

  • @0:26 my favourite part!!

  • @TheMbahmuer i agree :)

  • How did You make it go Slow-Mo then speed up then Slow-mo? a mod?

  • @SpiderVenok Read the comments, I believe I've explained it.

  • @lowstrife howd you do that? :O i sub if you tell xD

  • i love this game, the game made ati and nvidia to come up with new cards all the time, it made a competition between them. without this game, videocards would cost alot more and the qualities wouldnt be this good.

  • How did you make the frames into a video?

  • @metroid124

If you're recording using the built in capture engine, you can combine them into a .avi using Virtual Dub.

  • @lowstrife I did that but the file size is 6GB and when I play it, it is only five seconds long.

  • @metroid124 Depends on what\how you recorded. This video was originally about 40GB if I totally uncompressed it.

It recorded however much you played at 240fps. That's it.

  • @lowstrife Is there any other way?

  • @metroid124 well you can use Fraps like I did, it's alot easier. Check the "dont sync audio\video" box, set the game to 240fps (i dont remember what the fixed_timestep number is), and start recording.

  • u wish it was 240FPS

  • How you record this?

  • I've said how in previous comments.

  • @lowstrife

    And the programe for record?

  • Fraps.

  • Baje el video, baje el HQ y tiene muy buena calidad... :)

    i like

  • fuck*n kiddie users: great movie, catastrophic music. i didnt watch it just because of that.

  • fake 240 fps but awesome video

  • Nope, real 240. The raw footage was 240 unique frames per (realtime) second.

  • yah change the game title though, the Game wasnt running at 240fps you prerendered it to that.

With those system specs it'd be a miracle if you could run it at 40fps with 4xaa.

  • It's a more accurate description of what's going on then "Oh hey look, I made some slow motion". It's rendering out 240 frames per second of game speed to achieve a smooth slow motion effect.

  • "According to much... European speculation"

What the fuck is that supposed to mean?

  • This one German gaming website posted that I basically had done this in realtime and were asking for system specs lol. Their post contributed to a ton of views for me though, so I'm not complaining.

  • Views don't matter. People who care about views who aren't Youtube partners are total tools.

  • your funny 240 fps......

  • Excellent video.

  • trucooooo....nem o do exercito e a nasa fazendo sli fazem isto!kkkkkqual placa gráfica tu usou???uma gtx 699???/ kkkkkk

    gringo mentirosooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.....fuckyllllllllllllll

  • Our CPUS are about the same as far as I'm concerned, and I can put it at 3.7. By everyone says it's impossible to max out Crysis on a 4870, which is about the same thing as a 5770 but I can run it at 1000/1400. Plus you have it beyond maxed. Nice :D

  • @demon69120, I've got a 5770 (they're about 5% slower than the 4870 I think) and I max out Crysis and C.Warhead in DX10 and in 64Bit, sometimes with AA too (this is at 128x1024, when I have my new 22" 1920x1080(progressive) DVI,VGA,HDMI monitor, I won't use AA).

  • @AmH032uTuBe

Sweet. Well I have it installed and everything, everyone says Crysis won't run but at 1080 p and no AA Warhead will max.

  • Woahhh.. I just built my own PC with a AMD Cpu (P2 X4 955) and one of the newer 5770's. Gonna hook it up to my step dad's 1900 x 1080 42 in. HDTV; do you think I can run Crysis maxed out? Or how would I try to? I see a huge difference between 20 and 30 fps, but not really any difference after it hits 35. I just need ~35 fps steady.

  • I really don't understand how you do this...

can you do a tutorial video on this please?

  • Can't really make one... it's complicated.

  • This is my sad face :(

  • Long live the fast FW 15 fps looks like 75 and 50 like 250

  • i have same pc and better card and i have 50FPS

  • 30fps encode, 240fps source. Your eyes can't decern the difference between 30fps and 60fps in Crysis because of the level of motion blur that's applied. I haven't found a game that you can tell the difference between 60 and 100 in.

And I didn't know 1080P was the way it's meant to be played. Maybe I should do a 1440P (2560x1440), and have youtube downscale it to 1080P.

  • People should just enjoy the video. I thought it was a great job.

  • @PhantomOSX i Agree everyones just hating

  • I've been trying to find vids on the internet showing crysis running at 60 fps (or higher) in real time (no slow mo). I KNOW youtube has a 30 fps limit but some other video websites can play 60 fps or higher video. for example eurogamer has a video of GT for the psp running at true 60 fps

  • That won't make a difference... You really won't be able to see a (realtime) difference between 30fps and 60fps, and anything higher certainly will be a waste.

  • i saw a video that was encoded in 60 fps to the eurogamer website and i saw a HUGE difference. i'll send you the link if you want in a pm

  • Depends on the level of motion blur thats enabled. If you do it right, 30fps will look very similar (but not identical obviously) to 60fps footage on the same settings. I've done this myself.

However, if there is little or no motion blur, yes, 60fps will look significantly smoother and cleaner than 30fps (Halo 2 Vista is a perfect example).

  • OMG! you are so lucky to have a pc like that... I'L KILL YOU! Ò.Ó

  • yo lowstrife...luv da explosions...can u tell me da names of the mods u used...

  • how did you pre-rendering the video ?? plezzz tell me ? did you use a program

  • I used the command line in Crysis, Fraps to record, Sony Vegas to edit, and Megui to compress.

  • 13500 views and counting... Keep it going!

  • wicked! it looks kinda like a modern warfare 1 or 2 montage, lol at the no scope attempts. great game, but my 8800gt is just not good enough

  • how many fps do u think i will get on the highest setting with these sys specs

    intel core i7 960 at 3.2ghz

    6GB DDR3 RAM

Nvidia Geforce 280 GTX with 1 gb memory

  • Running everything at max shouldn't be a problem at all with such a nice setup, really, just play and enjoy :p you will have enough fps

  • well depending on the resolution ... 1920x1200 probs around 30 frames

  • about the normal 60 fps... normal fps honestly rlly good computer though... i can do what they do in this video with a 58 fps which is beyond good.

  • i think you should get something else then the 280 maybe 295 or a Radeon 5870

  • bout 30-40

  • " According to much... European speculation, many think that I've done this in realtime, and I haven't. My computer was actually getting about 15fps while recording this, but I manipulated the game in such a way that it could record & play it back in realtime. Some might call this "pre-rendering", and that term is as close as it will get to how I did it. "

so... how did you do this exactly??

  • Yeah nice is your Q6600 3Ghz good? I was thinking if I could get some like it cuz my AMD phenom 9500 2.2 ghz sucks still its quad core...

    any idea?

  • I liked ^^

  • I'ma pro. I don't get lucky.

  • how miny fps you get when you playing the game normaly ( without recording )

  • Depends on the settings.

  • what is your configuration to run that crysis?

    that's amazing!! \O/ | /\

  • Read the description smart one.

  • how did you manage to get such high fps? prerender or realtime? any optimizations?

nice video and good job tough i like it

can you tell me your secret :D

  • Try reading the rest of the comments.

  • lol i get like 20-40 fps with hd4870 1GB+amd phenom x4 940 BE in 1080p resoultion.

what resolution are u playing at?

  • This is 720p, but I've done crap in 1080p @ 60fps. Obviously none of my videos are realtime.

  • Did I just see "use Directional pad Up"??? YOU MUST USE WASD+MOUSE FOO'

  • Need to use troller because M\K is waaaaaay too sensitive while recording at this framerate. In real time, I can do about 5 360's per second.

  • And the fuck happened to my video being HD?

  • Fuck, it's happened to my videos as well. I hope it's a glitch.

  • That's debatable, but since most monitors and TVs are 60Hz you can't see a difference but on monitors with a higher refresh rate its possible.

Some people claim we can't see more than 24 or 30... which is why I don't take any of these kind of claims seriously.

  • It all depends on motion blur. Footage with a high degree of motion blur will be very smooth at 30, 24, or even 22fps. However, the less motion blur you apply the higher framerate you need to keep the "smooth" video flowing. The upper cap is roughly 60fps, though it depends on the footage and the amount of motion.

This video wasn't rendered at 240fps, it was rendered at 30. The video was RECORDED at 240fps, then edited, but it was rendered @ 30.

  • Crysis Warhead recorded at 240fps with some epic slow motion shots during explosions or headshots. The graphics were maxed (using a varying mix of custom configurations floating around the internet). I increased texture sizes, increased decal & shadow counts, raised the vegetation draw distances to nearly infinite (thus making every piece of grass or every bush rendered from any distance).

I don't see anything in the description box about it not being in realtime.

lol you used the word "thus"

  • Read lower.

  • Wheres the fraps fps counter?

240fps with a 4870 single is a hard pill to swallow without seeing actual proof.

  • read the description it wasn't realtime.

  • Fraps doesn't record it's own fps counter...

  • omfgwtfbbq????? wuts ur system specs?????? like 4x gtx285 classisfieds????

  • can't sli 4 single graphics cards...

    And no. 4870 1GB.

  • yes u can sli the new evga gtx285 classifieds with 4 cards but with the classified motherboard, and btw how is it possible to get 240fps with a 4870 1gb when i get 60fps max with my 4870x2????

  • This isn't direct gameplay, its actually being rendered 240 fps so then he takes the frames and puts them all together and plays it in film form

  • i got 450 fps with slowmotion

  • The theoretical max is technically unlimited. I found that beyond 240 made no difference.

  • This game isn't for either of those consoles, and you CAN hook up a Xbox controller to a computer. I did this to eliminate the jerky-ness of mouse gaming.

  • you can aim smoothly with a mouse if you know how to move a mouse. a controller will never be as fast or accurate as a mouse.

  • you're not that educated the realm of gaming are you?

  • @icedrinker8 ahah yeeee Crysis on ps3 and XBOX 360 ahahah byee ^^

  • Osom :)

  • Sorry for being nosy but what mods did you use during this recording?

  • Awsome slow motion effects

  • Really like the song on this.

  • How do you put in slowmotion?

  • either he slowed down the vid at parts or there are mods to do bullet-time/slow-mo in the games

  • Sorry, I noticed you, Thx you that you wrote off

  • nice song, whats the song ???

  • The description. Read it.

  • I don't care by Apocalyptica

  • and i cant anderstand how did you get 15 fps and the game run that fast ?

and how miny fps did you get when you play the game without fraps

  • Since the frame rate is now locked at 240FPS the game has to compensate for this by slowing down the game, in order to render all 240 frames per second, and therefore 240 screenshots for each second of gameplay. Basically as I was saying, this meant I was playing the game in super slow motion although the turning of the mouse was still real time and so I had to move my mouse incredibly slowly in order to make it looks realistic.

  • oh yeah, now i understand. but how can i lock the fps? plz pm me or something

  • lol Those are my words. :p

  • Also, that's just my feeble way of it making sense in my head. It's probbably wrong.

  • how miny $ did you get that card can you tell me

  • $160 for a 4870 1GB.

  • wow the end of that video was tight

  • Wow graphics and effects look amazing, by the way, how parameters does have your PC?

  • Q6600 4870 1GB

Wasn't recorded in realtime so "new record shit" doesn't count.

  • what program did you use to put all these frames together? iv tried lots but i cant find any good ones ;(

  • Virtual dub if you're recording with the games built in capturing method...

I use Fraps to record though.

  • It looks perfect,i dont have words.WOW!

  • WOW, some german webside apparently thinks this:

The special thing about it: Apparently the user has done it, the action game from Crytek home with 240 frames per second to get running. Informationen zu den angewandten Systemeinstellungen oder zur Hardware sind leider Fehlanzeige. Information regarding the system settings or hardware, unfortunately without success.

  • Just read the damn description dude. And a little tip: do that on every video. It´s really useful.

  • what song is that, its amazing!

  • If people like you would actually READ THE DESCRIPTION of videos then the comments sections of videos would be free of such idotic questions.

  • OK xD

  • Comment removed

  • read the description....

  • How do i make a pre rendered video? This looks good.

  • Very nice!

  • Why is it that as soon as a framerate is presented, people think it's realtime?

Of course it's pre-rendered. There's no possible way to play Crysis on Very High with 240FPS, that's just common sense.

    capture_frames ftw.

  • fixed_time_step 0.004166625

Start Fraps (with no sync checked)

    edit, encode, upload, post

    ?????

  • PROFIT

  • Really nice slow motion.

  • Looks prerendered. Can't you make another video with the FPS showing in the top right corner?

  • It obviously is pre-rendered.

  • Updated direct download links in the info.

  • Good 1strife

  • OMG, amazing, waiting for HD.
