  • Hmmmm. I'm not sure what I'm doing.

  • All the best with university! It's a fun time on the whole, trust me :) [I graduated from university two years ago.] And I feel you regarding LDRs. I'm in one myself, and it sucks when I can't touch him or hug him. But it's worth it. So hang in there! :)

  • I did a reply on twitter saying fawn you love her :D

  • YAY JORROH! <3 have a bloody good time and i hope it's not too long before i see you again ^_^

  • Well, I'll be 2hrs closer to London every day <3

  • I know how you feel.

  • Thanks, I am having a good whatever I'm doing!

I like your new hair. Have fun at uni - trying not to be jealous!

    Miss you x

  • I just wanted to send you some love cos I really like this vlog <333

  • Aw jerry you're such a sweetheart .. good luck with school and long distance love !

  • I have to commute most days into the city for work but it made me read a helluva lot more. Good luck with uni! Thanks for vlogging!

  • I'm glad you vlogged even though you didn't want to :-)

  • Hair looks fine ^__^ Good luck at induction! xD

  • I can relate - I'm just home from Canada, and I had to leave my girlfriend there :( Be strong!

  • I love ure t-shirt, like the hair and im thinking of u and fawn. I'm getting close to someone in ireland and I'm already beginning to see how crushing it is to not be with him x

  • hope you have a good start at Uni Jerry. 2 hrs is a long ride but at least you can do some work on the train, thats at least how I use my time on there. Take care mate :)

  • i like your new hair :) really nice!

and it's so sad about you and fawn :(.

but as you said, there are so many breaks and stuff to look forward to.

and if all else fails, skype is the answer :D

  • 2hr each way?????

    Thats too much!

I'd rather get an appartment nearby.

  • Aye, I'd get an apartment nearby if it was financially possible; maybe next year.

  • i have a question . .

do you have a star tatoo on your wrist?

    and why?

  • I do indeed. I had it tattooed there because ever since school, I'd been drawing it on occasionally with a pen, my friend Jack at uni saw it and offered to make it permanent. I love it :)

  • wow thats so lovely :)

i dont often like tattoos but yours is really sweet and simple!

people give odd reasons for tattoos sometimes but thats a darned brilliant reason!

  • Thought you were studying since ages ago! good so you're slightly closer to me (still about 4 hours away). Not that this will comfort you about your missed loved ones.

Anyway, you should come skate in Brighton/London !

  • haha, I WAS studying before, doing an HND, then I left that course, took a year out and now I'm going back to do my BA, which is why my funding is so up in the air, haha.

London is a bit easier for me to get to than Brighton, I expect I'll be up in the big smoke more often since I'll be slightly closer :)

  • What about via Salisbury on the Waterloo train from Exeter... Perhaps not as quick but it'll be cheaper (megatrain)...

  • It's not very expensive with my 16-25, only about £33. The shortest route is Plym > Dorchester > Bournemouth, as far as I can tell :)

  • i so know how you feel with the whole funding/travelling thing im so stressed about money just now

and long distance must suck when you don't know when you'll be able to see eachother, i find it hard enough living at the other end of the city from my bf lol

  • I know, it's hard without knowing when we'll be together next, but it's up to us to make our own schedules I guess; Fawn hasn't got her timetable yet, but I have fridays off most weeks, which makes it easier and I still have holiday hours left at work :)

  • Sorry, that was mean to say Devon, not Devin. Where the hell's Devin?

  • Hey, two tips for you:

    1) Move into halls. All the fun goes on in halls and you're gonna feel left out if you're not in halls by Christmas.

    2) I feel for you beginning a long distance relationship. I did it while I was at Uni (I was in Devin, she was in Manchester). At the end of our degrees we got married. That was 7 years ago. So it's tough, but worth it. Good luck.

  • 1) I really wish I could be in halls, but this is my 2nd degree, so I don't get enough funding to afford halls, plus I support my mum with the rent on our house here, it's complicated - I know I'll feel left out, but I'll be in halls or a house share next year, plus I have friends in Plymouth I can crash with.

    2) aww, I love success stories, they fill me with hope, thanks for sharing :) Where in Devon did you study? (I'm from Exeter originally)

  • I suppose second degree is different because you experienced life in halls first time around.

I studied in Dartinton College of Arts so I lived in Totnes for 3 years. It was awesome.

  • Yeah, been there, done that - not quite as into going out every single night like most freshers anyway, haha :)

  • Good luck on the long distance! David (dwood2001) and I are about 3600 miles away, although I just filed for a fiance visa for him and we both work full-time. I remember what it was like being in school though with no monies, so I wish you two the best! Do you only have 2 years since you already had some of the course work done?

  • Hey Justine!! Congrats again to you and David <3 Finacé visas are such a pain, any visas for that matter.

Thanks for the wishes, I'm sure we'll be fine, I've never been much surer about anything, hehe. I wish, I probably should have negotiated before I applied, since I DO already have a whole years worth of credits, about 120, but oh well.

  • Me and my girlfriend live about 10 miles away and we never really see each other because we are usually busy at the same times, but 200 miles away seems impossible, yet you seem to accomplish it! Good for you two! I am proud of you trying to make it work! :D

  • The thing about long distance is you have to make time I guess, it's constantly on your mind to make an effort :)

  • i bet you guys are gona break up

  • thats a horrible thing to say >:[

  • You're wrong, of course, but I find it interesting that you came to that conclusion; care to explain WHY?

  • Long distance relationships

    nuff said

  • That's a gross case of over-simplification. I've got a pair of good friends who have maintained a relationship between Australia and the UK and I know of a great many couples that started out long distance and are now happily married.

Fawn and I have been dating for a while now, long distance all the time and are even stronger than when we started out.

  • My boyfriend has just been visiting and is now gone back home. He lives 5000 miles away in Seattle. So hard!

Good luck with starting uni! Hope it all goes well - sure it will :-)

  • Wow, that is one expensive train card. =/

I hope university goes well! Have fun ^^,

  • aww jerry i'm starting uni soon too. and i'll be living at home as well... its not too bad for me though 40 minutes. but i still wish i was in halls. :) good luck you'll be fine x

  • Halls seems to much more fun, I'm jealous, haha

  • get a natwest student overdraft u get a 5 year free rail card! plus an overdraft as well

  • Yeah, I have that - railcards don't help with season tickets though, unfortunately

  • Good luck mate! :)

  • whenever i say cheerio in the states they think i'm talking about the cereal cheerios.

    its annoying.

  • jeez! just for a train..

  • II was beginning to worry you weren't going to finish off properly.

But alas, you chucked it in the last half second.

    Kudos to you Jerry :D

    and good luck (Y)

  • haha, you know I just throw in the cheerio to keep you happy ;)

  • Haha xD

    Glad to here it (Y)

    Cheerio!

  • I like your hair! Lol.

I know how you feel. My boyfriend and I are seven hours away when we're at college. It's terrible :[

  • Yeah, I've done an eight hour commute with an ex- like five years back and it wasn't at all fun, 4 hours is slightly better I guess, still can't see her as often as I'd like though, unfortunately.

  • Good luck with university Jerry.

Like I said on Dailybooth I know you aint going to see Fawn that much but when it comes to end of term it will be worth it.

  • I started my photography degree today! :D Hope you have fuuuun!!!

  • I can't wait to start mine, I'm really impatient, hehe

  • Awh, hope it all works out Jerryface, and it sucks for you & Fawn, but you'll see her soon enough =] (and your hair's fine! Stop worrying!)

  • hehe, thanks Hannah <3

Yeah, it sucks, but at least there's holidays, etc.

    (my hair thanks you, hehe)

  • N'aww I hope you gets to see fawn lots <3

Wow thats one expensive train ticket D:

I hope you love uni =)

Lucky you, damn you school, damn you!

I can't wait for uni, eeeep <3 luff choo

  • Me too, me too!

    It really is, tooo expensive!

    I'm sure I weeeel! <3

    DAMN SCHOOOOLS!!

Aww, make the most of school while you're there!

    Luff choo two <3

  • I wouldn't say its a bad hair cut, its just terribly practical. I'd suggest dying it a bright colour to break up the boring. Or something less extreme, but I'm short on actual ideas at the mo.

I'm entering my final year. Soon I have to look for jobs and be a grown up ;(

  • hahaha, you're right - it's too serious, I kinda want a blue tint, but I can't afford too right now.

  • Well I've heard tales of people spending their student loans on stupider things. That is if you go get your funding sorted out.

I feel your pain on that front, damn SAAS are so slow.

  • your hair looks fine :) and hey atleast 2 hours on the train means you have time to get all your work done :\

  • True dat, plus I can plug my MacBook in and watch movies/play guitar hero XD

  • in movement form, i rather like your hair ^_^

and hope you have a good start to uni. :)

  • haha, I'll just have to make sure to keep moving lots ;)

  • Commuting anywhere from cornwall is boring

even getting the bus from st just to penzance is dull

  • Tell me about it, I already commute from St Ives to Truro for work by bus as it is :/
