Some Libyans must have, but the majority hated him. I wonder how many of those people you see there cheering for Gaddafi did it out of loyalty. Gaddafi was a dictator who played on fear. If people are afraid they will support the dictator out of fear. But once that fear is gone, the revolution cannot be stopped.

Do you know why the sudden victory, after all attacking NATO- rebels were killed? NATO used a large thermobaric bomb (called the nuclear bomb of the poor) in Bani Walid which killed all live within 2 square meteres by burning or suffocate.
