This is not a case of dystonia, he has a psychogenic movement disorder. She was incorrectly diagnosed at Johns Hopkins. If it truly was dystonia, she probably would not recover. But if you are keeping up with this you will be aware of the fact that she is actually recovering from her psychogenic symptoms.

The neurologist I see told me none of his staff takes flu shots. I myself had flu shots while in the military and only one since I was discharged over 40yrs ago. Eight yrs ago I came up with what is called CIDP a neurological disease. I think taking flu shots that there is a fear of getting GBS which is also a neurological disorder. I do not take flu shots today and I am happy to say living a normal life with minimal damage.

Dude, the risk of Guillian-Barre is still lower than the risk of death without taking the shot. So, just because some unnamed neurologist's staff can't do statistics, you shouldn't either?

There have been two claimed injuries from this. One was the hoaxer Desiree Jennings. Actually, she just has a mental problem and was exploited by TV.

The other is a kid recovering from GBS. That's still lower than the ten per million who will DIE without it. Get it.

Actually, I just heard the woman is recovering from her condition, and it turned out she didn't even have what she was diagnosed with.

On another note, not getting the shot is more harmful to you, and the people around you. The chances of side effects as shown in the case of this woman are 1/10, where as catching the flu is higher. So, you got two choices: Take a chance and maybe ruin YOUR life, or get many people sick, with the chance of getting them extremely sick. It's your choice.
