Every sound in this song is sysnthesized including the beat And how they got the floating sound well.. if you ever played a perfessional keyboard/synthesizer,there's a lever on the side of it,it's called "Pitch Bend" what ever sound setting you have it on it goes up an octive when pushed up and it gives it that hight pitch to fade sound And that's pretty much that's how the artis got the floating sound effect.hope that helped. : )
