  • Good job, but music is annoying.. :/

  • @Nallu221 Thanks - yeah, the song tends to do that after a while. I'm finding more easy beats with a melody to make them less annoying. :)

  • in a few days I'll get my grafic tablett from wacom, I'll try to draw a baby dragon like you. great tutorial! (:

  • buen tutorial!!! me he suscrito :D pero me gustaría que me dijeras el tamaño del documento y a que resolución lo hiciste por favor

  • @abuelitadesuperman 25 x 20 cm. 300 ppi.

  • @JSolorzanoArts1 muchas gracias :D

  • i wish i could paint something like this :(

  • Great music, no blah blah,

A good workflow, simply but well explained.

Man you are great, i decided to learn digital painting and this video is of great help (especially with what brushes to use). I thank you for making this!

Now to see the next parts :)

    keep up the good work

  • @8Black8Rabbit8 Thank you very much!

  • Do you know an Alex Solarzano?XD

  • great tutorial! its very clear and organised. thats how i would like to work with painter.

one question. why do u put in the highlight on the iris at 06:50 if u know its going to get knocked down later. why not just add it at the end?

    cheers.. :)

  • how long did it take you to paint like this ?!!

  • @hajar9911 Good question. It took me about a month to get used to using a tablet, but even after years of using it, I am still learning and finding different ways to use brushes, so my technique is always improving and/or changing.

  • Do you still have your intous 3?

  • @TheMCRedStoner Yes, I'm still using the Intuos 3, but it's already getting buggy after 10 years, but it has been a great tablet. If I could improve on the 3, I would make the drawing pad a bit more rough, just a bit, so it feels like paper, and the usb cord a lot short. My usb connection is worn down so that's the part that needs replacing. The nibs on the Intuos 3 line are almost indestructible, I have never changed it, but it's now worn down a lot. Overall it was a great tablet.

  • @JSolorzanoArts1 I have a wacom bamboo pe tablet black and green i wish i could afford to buy an intous though :/

  • @TheMCRedStoner get and intous 3 or 4. its so worth the money! i got an intous 3 and still loving it after 3-4 years of use.

  • @JSolorzanoArts1 u can get the intous 4 cordless now.

  • hey i realy love this one ^o^

but I am a photshop user xD so is it posible to make it in photoshop to? and if yes (and if you can) is it possible to make a tutorial in photoshop please? ^^

  • I'm new to Corel Painter and this is very helpful! Thank you :)

  • Very helpful video, thank you.

  • Man... I really like your style. I wish I had a Wacom Cintiq, or Intuos, but I can't affor neither of them... So I have to draw with a Trust tablet... It's not that bad... but you can't compare it to the Intuos.

Right now i have a Deviantart account, where I upload my work, but I rarely have views, and almost no comments or anything. Could you give me some tips to get more "famous" or something? I've thought of uploading videos here, but I think it'll have the same effect as in DA.

  • @xantyleonhart

If you feel like taking a look, you can visit said DA page here: xantyleonhart(.)deviantart(.)com

  • DUDE YOU ARE AWESOME ... AMAZING SKILLS MAN

  • Oh gawd the music!!!

    I LOVE IT >TwT<

Tell me the name of if plz!

    Send me a link, enything!

  • abats the name of the song?

  • is it possible to do it with your comp mouse ?

  • @deadflowerXX999 Yes, you can do this with a mouse, but it will be very, very time-consuming and you won't get the pressure levels that a digital pen tablet can offer. Wacom has a great line of their Intuos brand, but they also offer the cheaper Bamboo brand that has few levels of pressure in the pen. For creating digital paintings, the Intuos is the way to go. But if its just minor drawings and small projects, the Bamboos are good. Hope this helps! :)

  • @JSolorzanoArts1 ok thnxs ^^

  • @deadflowerXX999 just get a tablet... I got mine refurbished on amazon..

  • did u use a normal mouse or a mouse tablet?

  • @TheSilsen I used a Wacom pen tablet, Intuos 3. It's rather old now, and I plan on upgrading to the Intuos 4 only out of need! :)

  • @JSolorzanoArts1 thanks for the tip! :D

  • @JSolorzanoArts1 the intuos 4's nibs wear out really fast and the replacement nibs are 10 euros !

  • love the music

  • @JSolorzanoArts1

What's the name of the song?

  • Woah that's awesome o:

  • What a fantastic tutorial!! I am transitioning from digital painting in photoshop to corel painter, and I am trying to find the best tutorials. I really like this one... The idea of doing the whole image in grayscale to color later is great!

  • Nice tutorial - I like the way you explain both the brushes and the process.

  • I love the background music. It sounds so fantasy-ish.

Amazing work! I haven't heard of Corel Painter until now; it seems like a really good program.
