Although Earth is not spinning as fast as in this video, it still spins as fast (or faster than) say, a spinning top.

Considering Earth's size, it indeed must rotate THAT fast ("That" not refeering to the video) to do a complete rotation in merely 23 hours 57 minutes... Altough with the recent Haiti's earthquake, Earth's rotation speed slowed down a bit.
