Cyclone Rollercoaster

real cool footage here - I'm hoping someone out there has some footage of the Cyclone at REVERE BEACH in MA. That was so tremendous and successful - - gave rise to the infamous Lightening which wouldn't last nearly as long built after the Cyclone and only open for barely 10 years while the Cyclone went from around 1925 till 1969 when I was riding it. Thanks for the post! ! ! important stuff!

Ok, this is the original cyclone. Many Six Flags Parks have replicas of this coaster, but this is the original. So stop saying it is at a Six Flags Park, when it clearly is not.

I like it when the kid screams "Oh Shiiiiiit! at the first drop and soon after, "I hate this!" in sheer terror. (I rode the cyclone yesterday for the first time, I understand the kid's feelings. Say whatever you want about the cyclone. Its a good ride!) The guy later asks him "Nice?" and the kid says "No! Not Nice, NOT NICE!" A must ride thriller, even if its only for the whiplash. Lmao.

For everybody who wants to get into the front of the first car, that seat is for tourists.

The real ride is in the last seat of the rear car, where that part of the train gets yanked around the fan turns as the rest of the train speeds up going down the next hill.

Try getting PULLED over those drops in the last car. Your gut gets churned between your throat and your ass several times as you speed up when you should slow down, and it does a number on your knees and thighs as well. OUCH!

Note to self: If your butt gets hurt easily, DO NOT ride on the back row of any of the cars. The seat is right above the rear axle.

This coaster has comfy seats, however, so it didn't hurt me. You'll still go bouncing tho

we had one called the cyclone in the u.k in southport it closed down search for it on here there is pictures of it getting torn down it hurts me to watch it because i worked there when they tore it down alot of people lost there jobs :(
